Een unieke en fascinerende ervaring: u waant zich de hoofdrolspeler in een film van de grote regisseur Frans Ford Coppola! Onze gids zal u interessante anekdotes vertellen, bijvoorbeeld over de reden waarom deze twee steden zijn gekozen of wie het script voor de film heeft geschreven. De excursie naar deze plaatsen zal zeer sfeervol zijn... Een bezoek aan deze twee steden zal een onvergetelijke indruk op je achterlaten... We zullen ingaan op het leven in de jaren 70 in deze kleine plattelandsdorpjes... Plezier is gegarandeerd dankzij de aanwezigheid van onze deskundige gidsen.

Nadat we door onze gids in uw hotel zijn verwelkomd, gaan we in de richting van Savoca, waarbij we twee kleine stadjes Sant Alessio en Santa Teresa doorkruisen, en bereiken we Savoca. Dit zeer kleine stadje vol schatten zal ons de Vitelli-bar aanbieden en verwelkomen waar verschillende scènes uit F. F. Coppola's The Godfather werden gefilmd, de bar wordt overspoeld met foto's die over de film vertellen, daarna gaan we in de richting van de kerk van Santa Lucia om te bezoeken waar het huwelijk tussen Appolonia en Michal Corleone plaatsvond!
Vanuit Savoca bereiken we Forza d'Agro. Deze stad is ook te zien in de film The Godfather; bedenk je eens, deze stad komt in alle drie de films op een bijzondere manier voor. De stad verwelkomt ons met haar recente geschiedenis die verbonden is met de film The Godfather, en we krijgen ook de gelegenheid om alle scènes die in Forza d'Agrò zijn gefilmd opnieuw te bekijken. Mogelijkheid tot dineren NIET inbegrepen in de prijs. Als iedereen dat wil, kunnen we blijven lunchen!

Marcello was a wonderful guide of the Godfather tour! Very engaging with the guests and very knowledgeable of the movie and its history! Wonderful day spent with him!
The site visits were great! Tour guide was okay- not sure how true some of the info given was. Didn't appreciate the sexist jokes repeatedly on the tour.

Our guide Marcello knew a lot to tell and had a good dose of humor. It is advisable to check out parts 1 to 3 at home before doing the tour.

It’s a really nice few hours with a guide (Marcello) who really knows his stuff. I recommend not to expect too much as it really is just a bit of sightseeing with very little free time. However, the sites are really beautiful and well worth seeing. Marcello was a little confusing at the beginning but once the trip settled down he was great fun and very informative. If you know the movie well, it will be a great experience. We almost did not get into Bar Vitelli which would have been very disappointing but our guide managed to get it sorted. What concerned us was that it was generally accepted that not getting in due to congestion seemed normal. All in all some great sights and well worthwhile.
Al bar Vitelli entrano sempre tutti i partecipanti al Tour. Come ogni volta che si svolge il Tour i nostri clienti hanno assicurato il posto! This guy is a scammer. Beware! We booked this tour a month and a half in advance for a group of five people. We were arriving on a cruise, and he was supposed to pick us up at the cruise port. Just one hour before the tour, he informed us that he was not going to pick us up because there were only five of us and the cruise port was “too far.” He took our money, never provided the service, and was extremely rude. He screamed at us and blamed us for selecting “Cruise Port” as the pickup location in his app. He had more than enough time to verify the pickup location and contact us if there was an issue, but instead he waited until the very last minute.What makes this even more upsetting is that my husband’s grandparents were from Messina and my husband had been looking forward to visiting this region for a long time. Being treated this way was incredibly disappointing. To make matters worse, he refused to refund our money, even though he never provided the tour. I really wish I had read his one-star reviews before booking. After our experience, I can see that this is something he has done to other customers as well.
Be careful what you write!!! What you write is subject to reporting to the Italian state police!!!! No one here has scammed you. If you have absolutely no knowledge of Sicily, don't write nonsense!!! All our tours depart from the city of Taormina and the surrounding area!!!!!!! It's written countless times: if you don't know the area, write first and inform yourself well... If you don't know the area, it's not our fault! We receive 5-star reviews every day. Some of our customers also arrive from Palermo by car or train! As for you, you're not only liars, but you got off the ship at 9:39, the tour departed at 9:00 from Taormina! Too bad you didn't see the hundreds of 5-star reviews! If you look carefully, one star is only given for situations like this!!!! They don't know Sicily, not only what does "Cruise Port" mean? Sicily has 6 large ports for cruise ships and 4 small ones.... Which port was I supposed to go to? You lied shamelessly! They contacted our office two days earlier and you didn't bother to respond! You reserved parking spaces that we couldn't make available to other customers, which is why you paid.... We're not here to play games, but only to get the job done! The 5-star rating proves it!

We had a wonderful tour of Savoca and Forza d’Agrò. The evening before, Marcello contacted us via WhatsApp to confirm the meeting point, and the next morning we were picked up directly from our hotel and dropped off at the same place afterwards. Marcello was an excellent guide and brought the tour to life with his colorful storytelling. If you’ve forgotten some scenes from The Godfather, he will gladly refresh your memory and show you exactly where each scene was filmed. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the movie and made the whole experience both informative and enjoyable. Definitely worth the money — highly recommended!
