Kies allereerst of u een Gedeelde Kleine Groepstour met maximaal 8 Gasten wilt, of een Privétour alleen voor uw gezelschap. Uw Gelicentieerde Gids zal u ontmoeten in Uw accommodatie in Taormina gebied om 10.00 uur met een 8 zitplaatsen A / C Mercedes Minivan. Bezoek 2 Siciliaanse kleine authentieke dorpjes waar de film The Godfather werd gespeeld : Savoca en Forza D'Agro'. Volg een wandeltour en luister naar de echte maffiageschiedenis, de structuur en de baas en hoe het zich ontwikkelde op Sicilië na de Tweede Wereldoorlog tot vandaag. Vergelijk het met The Godfather filmverhaal. Na de tour genieten van een typisch Siciliaanse lichte lunch op een panoramisch terras. Verwachte terugkeer in Uw accommodatie rond 15.00

Bezoek eerst dit typisch Siciliaanse dorp waar enkele scènes van de Godfather werden gespeeld
Onze gekwalificeerde gids met Engels als moedertaal ontmoet u om 10:00 uur in de lobby van uw accommodatie in Taormina, Giardini Naxos of Letojanni. Na 20 minuten rijden in een minibus met 8 zitplaatsen en airconditioning bereikt u Forza D’Agrò, een echt en authentiek kleine Siciliaans dorp. Maak een wandeling door het oude dorp en breng een bezoek aan plaatsen waar de film The Godfather werd opgenomen. Na een wandeling door het dorp met een uitleg over de authentieke Siciliaanse cultuur en tradities, rijdt u naar Savoca, het tweede Siciliaans dorpje waar de film is opgenomen. De beroemde Bar Vitelly waar Michael Corleone de vader van zijn toekomstige echtgenote Apollonia ontmoette. Vervolgens wandelt u in 5 minuten naar de Saint Lucy kerk waar ze trouwden. Tijdens uw wandeling vertelt uw gids u de echte geschiedenis van de Siciliaanse maffia, hoe deze zich ontwikkelde en zich zeer snel in Italië verspreidde. U hoort over de echte organisatie (koepel), over de baas en over de oorlogen tussen maffiaclans om het grondgebied. U ontdekt hoe 2 Siciliaanse agenten (Falcone en Borsellino) mede dankzij een aantal "maffia-spijtoptanten", heel dicht bij de waarheid over de maffia en haar samenwerking met Italiaanse politici kwamen. U hoort ook hoe het werkelijk is geëindigd. Na de wandeling stopt u in een mooie, elegante eetgelegenheid. Hier kunt u genieten van een huisgemaakt, typisch Siciliaans bord pasta en een glas rode wijn met uitzicht over de stad. Na de lichte lunch wordt u na ongeveer 30 minuten rijden, afgezet bij uw accommodatie. Verwachte terugkeer is ongeveer 15:00 uur.

This was a great experience. Denise was very knowledgeable about the towns we visited. The scenery was beautiful and lunch was delicious.
The trip overall was fantastic with an affable, knowledgeable guide who had excellent English. Bar Vitelli was covered in foliage that prevented any photos of the outside unless you entered and bought something or on the day we went unless you had a booking. One of the churches was undergoing renovations but it was great to see it and Savoca. The lunch was surprisingly good and the various stops on our journey were very much worthwhile. Even if you aren't a Godfather fan the trip may suit you as you see so much of the surrounding countryside and its villages. Our group of four gave an average mark of 9/10. Excellent
The Godfather vs. Mafia excursion was nothing short of amazing! Our tour guide, Valerio was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He did an excellent job of juxtaposing the theme of the movie with the real life violent history of the mafia family from Sicily. The tour was enjoyable and the pasta lunch was delicious!! I most definitely recommend this tour when visiting Messina!
It was such a fun and interesting tour. We were a group of 6 adults and we all really enjoyed the day! From the beautiful scenery, the small towns that we visited, the wonderful lunch, the host of the cafe Giovanni and our guide Giuseppe, it was great tour! Giuseppe was so friendly and knowledgeable! I would definitely recommend this tour! Thank you Giuseppe for a wonderful day!
Daniele was very nice and gave a decent tour. Please note that you will go on some very scary rides up two separate mountains. The vistas were amazing and the lunch was tasty. I felt like it was a little expensive for what you get, but all in all it was a good excursion.

Very helpful from the start to the finish. Loved every minute. Always wanted to do this trip and Carlos our guide did not disapoint us!! We were 4 of us and joined by 4 others. So entertaining and knowledgable. I would certainly recomend the trip and ceratinley if you could get the same guide you will not be dissapointed!
Carlos was fantastic with knowledge and humor. Lots of facts about the movies and the real mafia in Sicily. Delicious authentic lunch afterwards. Definitely a really good experience.

Our guide, Orazio, was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He pointed out the important locations from the movie, and explained in detail how some scenes were actually spliced from two different towns. One example was the exterior of one house, but in the movie the interior was somewhere completely different. We enjoyed the pasta lunch, complete with bruschetta and dessert, and, of course, wine. The other people with us were also very nice, and it was a very pleasant day over all. For my husband, it was a major highlight of our whole trip. We will be watching all three movies again when we get home.
