Bent u klaar om de geheimen van de hoofdstad van Castilië - La Mancha te onthullen? We gaan! Terwijl we rondlopen in de Kathedraal van Toledo leren we over de legendes en verhalen die verband houden met de stad van de drie culturen : Christenen, Arabieren en Joden leefden samen in een stad met vele geheimen om te ontdekken. We zullen ook leren over de geschiedenis van de Visigoten en moslims die ooit het terrein van de huidige kathedraal die dateert uit de 13e eeuw bezetten. We gaan verder in de Joodse wijk, een van de meest artistieke gebieden en monumentale erfenis van het historische centrum. We besluiten door terug te keren naar het eerste ontmoetingspunt, maar niet voordat we langs het Casa Don Rodrigo de la Fuente zijn gegaan, een 15e-eeuws paleishuis dat een getuige en belangrijke protagonist van de geschiedenis van Toledo was en wordt beschouwd als een Site van Cultureel Belang. BELANGRIJK : Voor groepen van meer dan 6 deelnemers gebruiken we een koptelefoon. OPMERKING : Kinderen jonger dan 12 jaar worden niet geleverd met een headset.

This tour was such a delight for our family of four with two teenagers. Toledo, in general, far exceeded our expectations. This tour was a wonderful way to learn about the city and see hidden gems. The guide was very knowledgeable and kept us in the shade most of the time. Even with the very hot weather, it was enjoyable.

We toured with Juan and he was an excellent guide! We appreciated the insight of a local to share history and his personal recommendations on what to do in Toledo. He is lighthearted and welcoming, and answered all of our group's questions. We walked through the different parts of town and it was perfect for sightseeing during a day trip to Toledo! Overall, it was interesting, although I would have liked to be closer to very emblematic buildings in the city, such as the synagogues and the house of El Greco.

Juan was entertaining. However, his English was not as clear as I would have expected for an English language tour. It did not help that the quality of the audio equipment sound was poor

Toledo is rich with history and it’s also extremely noisy with buses, cars and people all jockeying for the same space - so we were very happy to be given small speakers that looped over one ear so that we could hear our guide as she regaled us with her stories of creation, life, destruction and rebirth. A great plan to experience all that Toledo has to offer is to start with this tour, and then plan the rest of your time based on what you learn in 90 minutes.
A very satisfying and recommended experience. We were a group of friends; the girl who accompanied us (I don't remember her name, but I do remember she was from Granada) seemed very nice and explained everything very well, and she was attentive at all times to ensure we did not suffer any falls or accidents. I would do it again.
