Wat deze ervaring zo bijzonder maakt, is de authenticiteit ervan. Je bezoekt geen restaurant, maar stapt een echt Siciliaans huis binnen en ervaart de tradities, smaken en gastvrijheid van een authentieke lokale familie. U kunt een selectie wijnen proeven die verbonden zijn met de geschiedenis van de streek, waaronder de prestigieuze labels Tenuta Campo Re en onze familiereserve, samen met twee uitstekende extra vierge olijfolies die op de Etna worden geproduceerd. De lunch wordt bereid met biologische en seizoensgebonden ingrediënten, voornamelijk uit onze eigen tuin, volgens recepten die al generaties lang worden doorgegeven. Te midden van verhalen, tradities en wetenswaardigheden over de Etna en Sicilië, beleef je een moment van authentieke verbondenheid. Op slechts enkele minuten van Taormina, ver weg van de drukte, ontdekt u een authentiek Sicilië dat u zelden tegenkomt op de traditionele toeristische routes.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Om uw verblijf nog aangenamer en ontspannender te maken, bieden wij een persoonlijke transferservice rechtstreeks vanaf uw hotel, B&B, appartement of een afgesproken ontmoetingspunt. Een ophaal- en brengservice vanuit Taormina en omgeving is beschikbaar tegen een kleine toeslag van €28 per persoon voor een retourrit. We verwelkomen ook gasten die in Catania of Messina verblijven, of die per cruiseschip aankomen. We bieden een speciale transfer aan tegen een kleine toeslag van € 110 per auto, heen en terug. De reis naar ons huis is al onderdeel van de ervaring: onderweg kunt u genieten van prachtige uitzichten op de Siciliaanse kust en het Etna-gebied, en zich alvast onderdompelen in de authentieke sfeer van de dag. Na uw boeking nemen we persoonlijk contact met u op om alle details te regelen en een comfortabele en zorgeloze ervaring te garanderen.

We booked a private cooking class with Sicilian Soul Experience to celebrate one of my employee’s birthday, and it turned out to be one of the best team experiences ever. Under the warm guidance of Miss Angela and her incredibly friendly son Gaetano, we learned to make fresh pasta, authentic parmigiana, and a heavenly tiramisù. We laughed nonstop, toasted together, and discovered beautiful Sicilian stories and traditions. It felt like being welcomed into a real Sicilian family. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to create special memories!

This experience was the highlight of our 2 week cruise in Europe! The food was out of this world and the hospitality was even better! Angela and her whole family overwhelmed us with delicious food and wine, and made us feel right at home. We all fell in love with Taormina and want to go back and would definitely want to do this again! Her husband, Salvatore, picked us up from the ship and took us on a tour of the city before we went to their home for one of the best meals ever. Definitely worth paying extra for that added service, it was amazing!!!

The best moment was definitely sitting together at the table to enjoy everything we had prepared. The dishes were authentic, delicious, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. We had a truly special experience at Angela’s home. It was an evening dedicated to authentic Sicilian flavors, in a warm and welcoming setting. The traditional dishes were prepared with great care, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. Each course felt connected to local traditions and the history of the region. The Etna wines we tasted were excellent and perfectly paired with the food. The atmosphere was the highlight: relaxed, genuine and informal. We felt sincerely welcomed throughout the evening. It’s an experience we would happily repeat and definitely recommend to anyone who wants to discover the real Sicily, away from the usual tourist spots.
We made arrangements to have Salvo pick us up at the strain station, which took off the stress of finding a ride to the experience. At the home we were greeted by Angela and their son to their beautiful home. They are a wonderful family that gave us a glimpse of the food that makes Sicily a great place to experience traditional recipes with a modern flair. They welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like were old friends. The Great hospitality and generosity was over the top. They served us a variety of food and each was paired with great wine from the Etna region. You need to go hungry because it’s an overwhelming abundance and variety of food that was shared. This is a must If you are looking for a great experience with amazing food with an equally amazing family.
