Allereerst kunt u kiezen tussen een Gedeelde kleine groep tour of een Privé Tour alleen voor Uw gezelschap. De Tour neemt je mee naar het historische centrum van Taormina, en de ideale plek om een echte smaak van Taormina te krijgen. Geniet van het heerlijke eten, geniet van de levendige cultuur en ontmoet de mensen die zoveel prachtige eet- en wijntradities levend houden. Ontmoeting bij Porta Messina, de ingang oude poort van Corso Umberto, vind de traditionele eetgelegenheden in de stad op een 2 uur en een half Tour! Onder leiding van een lokale food & wine loving gids bezoekt u 3 verschillende locaties: -In de eerste wordt u verwelkomd met een Prosecco glas. Hier probeert u verschillende monsters van verse SEAFOOD vergezeld van typische Siciliaanse witte wijn. -Op de tweede locatie probeer je enkele voorbeelden van Siciliaanse LANDFOOD vergezeld van typische Siciliaanse Rode Wijn. -Third Venue zal een Typisch Siciliaanse Patisserie voor Siciliaanse gebak & likeuren Proef een verscheidenheid aan heerlijke regionale specialiteiten. Excellent guide who provided insight and thoughts as we tasted both food and wine. The tour was conducted at a good pace.
Great, fun trip. Alfredo was excellent and really interesting and funny. Good to experience local foods that one might not have thought to try. Wine portions were unusually generous. Well worth while.
What a brilliant day. Lunch at Parco Statella featured some of the best food and wine we have had in Italy. Small group of 8 including Swiss, Lithuania, England & Australia...great people, great guide, great day
Rosario (our host) was very gracious and super friendly. He was full of knowledge about Sicily and worked hard to make the tour experience excellent for everyone. Also, the food & wine was amazing and plentiful.

A wonderful experience, we enjoyed learning all about the food culture of Taormina with Gerry, he was very rehearsed, very welcoming and had many connections with the local restaurants . The best part was getting to meet others and tasting foods we didn't even know existed!
This tour was absolutely fantastic. I’m a big fan of doing food tours in the areas where I travel. Our guide, Gerry, was absolutely fantastic - incredibly knowledgeable and fun to have a conversation with. He helped introduce us to great local foods, wines and dessert. All of it is worth a try. We also were able to learn about some of the monuments and history of Taormina. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who is a lover of food and would like to know more about the area.
Alfredo was an absolute book of knowledge on Sicilian culture, traditions, & foods. He took us to 3 wonderful local restaurants. We began with traditional appetizers & wines. Continued to an Enoteca for more wine and a delicious plate of cheeses and meats. Lastly, we concluded the evening with a delicious cannoli, cookies, limoncello & a local almond wine liquor! A must when in Taormina!!!
We almost had to cancel our Food tour due to a last minute Lufthansa strike which changed our flight and arrival time E. Taormina Food and Wine work with us to try and find a date and time which worked. Alfredo was is a knowledgeable and entertaining guide who led us through a very good food Asia e and Sicilian experience. We high recommend this tour if your travel plans include Taormina or Sicily.
It was a great evening. It was easy to find our guide at the meeting point. We had a small group, just 4 of us, which made it nice and personal. Our guide, Jerry, was very fun. He even showed us other points of interest as we were walking to our stops for our food and wine tastings. The places where we stopped were friendly and accommodating. The wines and food were great. There was no skimping on either, generous portions.
