Verken de wereldberoemde Tafelberg te voet - dit is een zeer populaire activiteit in Kaapstad! Wandel naar de top van de prachtige Tafelberg tijdens deze 4-uur durende tour en geniet van een adembenemend uitzicht op de stad en de kust. Er zijn een aantal fantastische wandelroutes naar de top van de Tafelberg die matige fitness vereisen en een buitengewone natuurervaring bieden in het hart van de stad. Onder leiding van een vriendelijke lokale gids. Stel voor foto's, geniet van uitzicht op Kaap de Goede Hoop en de bergketen die bekend staat als de Twaalf Apostelen, en waardeer de prachtige, rijke fynbos en andere diverse plantensoorten om je heen, voordat je afdaalt naar Kaapstad. Als u na de wandeling te moe bent om naar beneden te lopen, kunt u de kabelbaan nemen (voor eigen rekening). U wordt dan graag teruggebracht naar uw hotel of pension.

- Zorg ervoor dat je comfortabele wandelschoenen / kleding draagt, het is ook aan te bevelen om een zonnehoed, zonnebril, zonnebrandcrème en een lichte jas mee te nemen want het zal koeler zijn aan de top
- Het is aan te raden om water mee te nemen voor de wandeling (tot 2 liter)
- Het is aan te bevelen om vóór de tijd een "one way down cable way ticket" te boeken om de wachtrijen op de berg te vermijden, mocht u het gevoel hebben dat u na de wandeling niet terug de berg af wilt lopen
- De wandeling is afhankelijk van het weer
- De Tafelberg-kabelbaan is gesloten voor het jaarlijkse onderhoud van 7 - 26 juli 2020. Tijdens deze periode zal de tour een stop op Signal Hill omvatten in plaats van zonder extra kosten
- Tijden variëren naargelang seizoen ±06h30 (zomer) & ±07h30 (winter)

India Venster hike was very difficult but it was totally worth it. Be mentally prepared and flexible as the weather can have a major impact. It took us 4 hours with breaks but steady climbing with our fantastic Guide Chisai. And luckily we got the cable car down. Spectacular views. We needed encouragement and coaching on the scrambling but succeeded. And we learned about the flora and fauna on the way up. Great passion from Chisai and we felt amazing afterwards!

Table Mountain is a place must be visited if you are in Cape Town. Unfortunately, we went to the cable car station in a windy day were wind speed was beyond the acceptable limit and they have to stop the operation. However, we enjoyed the view of the city and the nice weather although not reached the top and never regret the trip out. My advise is to call and check at your hotel before going to the maintain keeping in mind that the last ride to top is 6 PM. A very tourist attraction place near by and worth visiting in Cape Town and should not be missed.

<p>We spent just under 3 hours climbing, amazing, this can be done with or without a guide, we choose to do it with a guide and were very happy we did, this was money well spent and for us one of the many highlights of Cape Town, a must do.<br/> Graeme and Penny</p>
<p>From Table Montain, you have a very nice view of Cape Town.<br/> Unfortunately, we were not informed that the hike is very hard, and that there was a limited amount of time to hike up and down we arrived around 10h and had to be back at 15h. Traveling guides however indicate that it take three hours to go up, so six hours in total for people without much experience with hiking.</p>
<p>Need to be in pretty good shape to make it to the top. We made it in about an 1 hour 45 minutes. Unfortunately, was cloudy and windy at the top and could not see a thing. It was like being on another planet!!! Took the Gondola down. Overall still highly recommend despite our bad luck with the views.</p>
<p>Manny, our tour guide, was amazingly informative. The hike was strenuous (all in our party are in excellent shape, working out 5 days a week) so you should consider your fitness level before booking this hike. The hike was very scenic and beautiful and the reward at the top is spectacular. We were very lucky and the weather was very clear and the view was unbelievable. I would highly recommend this hike to anyone interested in taking the difficult path to the top.</p>
