Parque Ibirap Ibirapuera Park werd in 1954 ingehuldigd om de 400ste verjaardag van São Paulo te vieren, en vandaag is het het meest bekende park in de stad met meer dan 14 MM bezoeken per jaar. Het park ontvangt van maandag tot en met vrijdag ongeveer 25.000 bezoekers, op zaterdag 75.000 en op zondag 150.000. Museu Afro Brasil is een openbare instelling, in handen van het Staatssecretariaat voor Cultuur van São Paulo en beheerd door Associação Museu Afro Brasil - Organização Social de Cultura (Museu Afro-Brasil Association - Sociale Organisatie voor Cultuur) Het wil een eigentijds museum zijn waar de zwarte mensen herkend kunnen worden. Meer dan 6.000 werken benadrukken het belang van Afrikaanse mensen bij de vorming van de Braziliaanse cultuur, erfgoed en identiteit zoals we die tegenwoordig kennen. Het biedt ook een viering van de kunst en prestaties van de Afrikanen en Afro-Brazilianen. De collectie wordt beschouwd als de grootste Afro-Amerikaan in Amerika met meer dan 6.000 meesterwerken, sculpturen, documenten, gravures, keramiek, schilderijen, hedendaagse kunst, juwelen, objecten, reliëfs, foto's en textiel. Meer dan 70% van de collectie is in de langetermijntentoonstelling en toont voornamelijk Brazilië, enkele landen van het Afrikaanse continent, Cuba, Haïti en de Verenigde Staten.

I actually did a different bike tour due to construction. Our guide Pedro was super nice, knowledgeable, and helpful! We saw many sights on Pallista Avenue and down in the Centro area. We covered a lot of ground, but it was an easy pace with mostly downhill streets. Taking the subway back was a bonus and a relief!!! 🤣
I went with foreign friends! They as tourists loved and I also loved Brazilian! Pedro did very good English, has many great stories to tell and we felt very safe walking through the bike center! That was the allot point of my trip with these friends!

This is a great tour! The guide takes your ability into consideration and helps you through the experience. The bike works! A fun time for sure, especially if you are a cyclist!
Great bike trip around the city. Pablo and the other man were super helpful and watched over us well. Got to experience the city. Definitely some hills but doable. Great time!

We had a BLAST!!! with Lucas and another tour participant. Lucas was very patient with us. He answered all our questions with perfect English. He was fun, engaging, knowledgeable, and professional. Had an excellent experience with Pedro! He was super kind, had a nice humor and took me through the city center of São Paulo and was extremely knowledgeable about the history, architecture and politics that shaped the city. I am Brazilian myself and have been to São Paulo before, still this tour showed me a lot of new things and gave me new perspectives about the city. 100% recommend!
