Ontdek Straatsburg door zijn geschiedenis en zijn best bewaarde voedselgeheimen tijdens deze unieke rondleiding! Verken in 3 uur de charmante oude stad met een gepassioneerde lokale Gids, van de iconische kathedraal van Straatsburg tot het pittoreske Petite France, terwijl u verhalen hoort over de rijke cultuur en tradities van de Elzas. Onderweg stoppen we op zorgvuldig geselecteerde plekken die geliefd zijn bij de lokale bevolking, echte en heerlijke verborgen juweeltjes ver van de gebruikelijke toeristenvallen. Afhankelijk van het seizoen kunt u zelfgemaakte knacks, uientaart, spätzle (Elzasser noedels) of flammekueche proeven, een authentieke kaaswinkel bezoeken en lokale Elzasser wijnen of bieren proberen. Natuurlijk eindigen we altijd met een zoete noot in een gezellige, lokale banketbakkerij of ambachtelijk ijs in de zomer! Dieetwensen kunnen worden tegemoetgekomen! We nemen de charme van Place Kléber in ons op en ontdekken intrigerende feiten over de geschiedenis terwijl we genieten van het bruisende plein en de indrukwekkende gebouwen.
Onze eerste gastronomische stop brengt ons naar het charmante Petite France, waar we een selectie traditionele Elzasser voorgerechten proeven, zoals uientaart, bibeleskäs en foie gras, allemaal terwijl we genieten van de sprookjesachtige sfeer van deze historische wijk.
Op Place Gutenberg pauzeren we om het historische plein te bewonderen voordat we genieten van een proeverij van lokale Elzasser wijnen, gevierd om hun frisheid en unieke karakter.
Op de idyllische kades langs de rivier proeven we de beste tartes flambées van Straatsburg, met heerlijke opties die ook beschikbaar zijn voor veganistische en glutenvrije gasten.
Tot slot, afhankelijk van het seizoen, eindigen we met een zoete noot rond de kathedraal. In de zomer genieten we van zelfgemaakt ambachtelijk ijs, perfect voor een zonnige wandeling. In de winter genieten we van Elzasser specialiteiten zoals cake uit het Zwarte Woud, kougelhopf en de geliefde bredle : kleine gekruide kerstkoekjes.

My friend and I booked this tour for our first full day in Strasbourg. The tour is focused on the city centre and the pace is easy, relatively flat. The tour is a great introduction to the unique wines, food, and history of this area. Elodi was a pleasant host. Whether you have a short time or a longer time in Strasbourg, I can recommend this tour.

Elora was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the city. With that being said, this is the only food tour I have been on in which the food isn't included. So make sure to read the fine print. Elora did take us to relatively inexpensive places for food and gave us suggestions on what to order, but keep that in mind when booking this experience.

Elora was a wonderful guide through the beautiful city of Strasbourg!! She showed us so many wonderful parts of the city. We learned about the history and culture of the Alsace region as well as the stories behind each Christmas market. She took us to several delicious food stops and we enjoyed her company as we tried new foods. I highly recommend Elora as a guide through Strasbourg. She is delightful, well-informed, and fun to be with!
Despite the pouring rain, we had a lovely time with Elora. She is friendly and very knowledgeable, plus she knows all the great places to try traditional fare, many where the locals go. The stops are totally customizable, so you can make the experience whatever you want.
We ended up booking this tour pretty last minute after another tour we had cancelled. Elora was fantastic and gave us a lot of history about Strasbourg. We stopped in various food shops and restaurants which was wonderful. We also enjoyed a very good wine tasting. I would highly recommend this tour, it is a great way to get an insiders visit to the city!
