Triberg, de hoofdstad van de koekoeksklokken en de thuisbasis van de hoogste watervallen van Duitsland, is een concentratie van de ziel van het Zwarte Woud. Laat u na het passeren van het dorp verrassen door de ruige schoonheid van de Triberg-watervallen, de hoogste en mooiste van Duitsland, ontdek de beroemde handgemaakte klokken en verken de traditionele winkeltjes. De toegang tot het Cascades National Park is tegen een extra vergoeding (€9 per volwassene).
Genesteld in het hart van het Zwarte Woud, is het Titisee-meer een waar ansichtkaartwaardig tafereel en een van de mooiste panorama's in de regio. Het glinsterende water nodigt uit tot ontspanning en bezinning. Geniet van een wandeling langs het meer, een tochtje in een elektrische boot of een ontspannend moment op het terras met een prachtig uitzicht op de omliggende bergen. De betoverende landschappen en de vele restaurants en terrassen maken het de ideale plek voor een lunchpauze.

Na een rondleiding door het historische centrum kunt u in uw vrije tijd de middeleeuwse steegjes verkennen, over het markt slenteren of de beroemde Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte proeven.

We had just the BEST day with Daniel! To begin with, he was prompt, courteous, knew where he was going, AND he was a good driver. He was VERY personable, has a great personality, and was more-than-willing to answer ANY questions we came up with. One thing that was particularly helpful: he has a strong voice and annunciates clearly. Oh, and he has a wealth of knowledge. We LOVED our day with him, and he is well-worthy of our highest recommendation!!!
Had a beautiful day visiting some highlights of the Black Forest. Our guide drove us and narrated along the way. Very informative regarding history, culture and sights. At each stop our guide walked with us and pointed out all the important things to see. Highly recommend this tour.
Daniel is a contracted guide for Viator and has been in business for a little over a year. Much of his leisure time in years past has been spent in the Black Forest and its German villages so we were in great hands. A marvelous balance of fresh air, waterfalls, clock shops, lunch by the lake and a little early birthday cake disguised as Black Forest cake! Yum! A great break from all the city walking tours we've been taking.
The trip turned out fantastic. I loved Strasbourg, Colmar, Gengenbach, and the towns of Triberg and Titisee that I visited. I find it more comfortable to visit them on an excursion like I did the last one with Civitatis because the trains have many transfers and are not coordinated, thus losing a lot of time, and in my case I did not have in mind to rent a car, but I organized myself and I loved the trip.

Nice day out in the Black Forest visiting 3 lovely towns. The pace was good and Daniel was a very good guide and driver. I would have liked a bit more time in Triberg the first stop but there is a lot of distance to cover so I guess you can't stay too long in one spot. Would recommend this tour.
