Stonehenge Meer dan 5000 jaar geschiedenis wacht op ons om ontdekt te worden op de prehistorische site in Stonehenge. Stonehenge is gebouwd op de winderige Salisbury Plain door onze Neolithische voorouders en is een site die al honderden jaren controverse en opschudding veroorzaakt. Verken meer dan 250 oude voorwerpen die worden tentoongesteld in het bezoekerscentrum van wereldklasse. Ontdek de gereedschappen en alledaagse voorwerpen uit het Neolithicum en kom oog in oog te staan met een 5.500-jarige man en oude menselijke overblijfselen. Ontcijfer het mysterie van Stonehenge met behulp van een interactieve audio Gids exclusief voor Evan Evans. Leer wie het heeft gebouwd en waarom, evenals hoe het werd gebouwd met behulp van rudimentaire apparatuur gemaakt van hout en steen.
Windsor Castle (optioneel) is het voorouderlijk huis van de Britse monarchie en het grootste bewoonde kasteel ter wereld. Terwijl je over het indrukwekkende terrein loopt, is het bijna moeilijk te geloven dat opeenvolgende koningen en koninginnen hier al meer dan 900 jaar wonen. Peter the tour guide was amazing and Chris the bus driver was great. Time allocated to each stop was sufficient.
Very informative and enjoyable. Little disappointed not being able to take pictures inside Windsor Palace and St Michel’s Church—did get a lot outside though!
Godfrey was great! Very knowledgeable about the history of the places we went to, and he made it enjoyable. Wished we knew Windsor Castle was closed on Tuesdays/Wednesdays. But otherwise great service!
Nice trip and our guide Mel was very informative and funny. There is a lot of uphill walking so be prepared.
