Stonehenge is het beroemdste prehistorische monument ter wereld en staat op de werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO. Het staat alleen op de uitgestrekte Salisbury Plain. De oorsprong gaat bijna 5000 jaar terug en wordt sindsdien geassocieerd met prehistorische rituelen, spirituele betekenis en voortdurende publieke discussie. De brug over de rivier de Avon werd in 1774 voltooid en verbond de stad met het land van de familie Pulteney, dat door Robert Adam in Palladiaanse stijl was ontworpen. Het bijzondere aan de brug is dat er aan beide zijden over de gehele lengte winkels zijn gebouwd.
The Royal Crescent is een rij van 30 rijtjeshuizen die in een brede halve maan zijn aangelegd in de stad Bath, Engeland. Het is ontworpen door de architect John Wood, the Younger en gebouwd tussen 1767 en 1774. Het is een van de beste voorbeelden van Georgiaanse architectuur in het Verenigd Koninkrijk.
Bath Abbey is een Anglicaanse parochiekerk en voormalig Benedictijns klooster in Bath, Somerset, Engeland. Het werd gesticht in de 7e eeuw, gereorganiseerd in de 10e eeuw en herbouwd in de 12e en 16e eeuw.
De enige natuurlijke warmwaterbron van Groot-Brittannië is bijna 2000 jaar geleden gebouwd en herbergt het prachtige Romeinse openbare badcomplex en Romeinse tempelruïnes. Gevestigd in een origineel Georgiaans herenhuis, vertelt het het verhaal van Jane's tijd in Bath, inclusief het effect dat het leven hier had op haar en haar schrijven. Uw ticket is inclusief toegang tot het Jane Austen Centre (als de toegangsoptie is geselecteerd).
Laatste drop-off punt door Gloucester Road metrostation. Rondleiding eindigt om ongeveer 19.30 uur. Het station wordt bediend door de District, Circle en Piccadilly Line en duurt ongeveer 20 minuten naar het centrum van Londen.

Great experience in just a day. It gives you the chance to see 2 well known places in such a short time.
While Maria was very knowledgable, the Stonehenge and Bath tours were self-service. I thought we were on a conducted tour. Hence I give it 4 stars, not 5. The bus journey was very comfortable and the entry tickets were covered.
Exceeded both of our expectations. Had the right amount of time at our stops. Informative. Bath was very worthwhile
We had a fantastic day visiting both Stonehenge and Bath. The tour guide, Steve, was incredibly knowledgeable and explained things very clearly. We loved to hear about the history of both Stonehenge and Bath before visiting each place, and also hear about the different areas as we passed them along the way. It was a long day, but we were so glad to visit both places in one day. We had enough time in each place to explore, and to make us feel that we weren't rushed. We would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone.

It was a truly wonderful tour. I felt that the combination of Stonehenge and Bath was like a journey through time and space. The guide’s explanations were clear and easy to understand, and we really appreciated how kind and helpful the guide was throughout the tour. Thank you very much for a wonderful experience!
Steve and Christian were a great team for our tour, and the double-decker bus was a comfortable ride. I would NOT recommend the Jane Austen add on as that “experience” was not worth the time or money—a quick genealogy and then a self-guided “museum.” We wish we’d wandered Bath instead. That said, despite the time you’re given, be sure not to be slow as 1.5 hours at Stonehenge will fly by if you take the time to go around and listen to the audio guide (we couldn’t even look at the museum or shop) and 2 hours in the Roman ruins was barely enough for us to quickly check out the shop and get back to our bus. It’s a long drive each way, Steve did great sharing info and keeping us entertained, but you may want to bring a book or something to pass the time when the scenery out the window isn’t as idyllic.
The Tour-Guide Steve (?) was really nice and funny. He explained a lot, structured everything nicely and always cracked a joke.
Steve was a top tour guide, funny and informative. Doing stonehedge and bath at the same was like two birds and one stone thing. Would definitely recommend.
