The tour exceeded our expectations; we greatly enjoyed every moment thanks to the breathtaking views and the overall experience. In addition, the warmth and friendliness of the people in the area made the tour even more special.
El tour superó nuestras expectativas; disfrutamos enormemente cada momento gracias a las vistas impresionantes y la experiencia en general. Además, la calidez y amabilidad de las personas de la zona hicieron que el recorrido fuera aún más especial.
An interesting archaeological site on the outskirts of Cusco that highlights the Incas amazing stone work. We happened to be there on a festival rehearsal day for Warachicuy (ancient Incan rite for initiating young men into adulthood) that occurs at the site on the third Sunday in September every year.
We had a horrible experience with this tour company. When I booked the tour, it said to meet at noon.. I did receive a message through WhatsApp stating to meet at 12:50. I didn’t realize that until we were sitting in front of the cathedral waiting for the tour guide. Once we realize the time was 1250 we went and grabbed lunch. I was told by the tour operator that somebody would pull up and call my name at 12:50 to meet in front of the cathedral. At about 1240 I received a message from a completely different tour company in WhatsApp saying where are you I’m by the fountain. I said I’m not sure who this is. We are not booked through your tour company and that I was told to meet at 12:50 in front of the cathedral. I was then told by our tour company. Oh, it’s another tour company we work with don’t worry about it. Overall, it was very disorganized and we decided to scratch the whole thing and we went and saw the sites ourselves. This was after the tour guide said what’s the big deal it’s a five minute difference. The big deal was we had a completely different tour company messaging us and it was completely different than what the original tour guide had told us.
the company I took I loved because it made us live a very great, pleasant experience were always attentive I'd recommend taking it.
A lot of learning and culture. This tour is recommended in the first days to be able to acclimate well and is not very difficult, super recommended.
Close to the city center but much less impressive than the matchu picchu. You have to go with a guide otherwise you only see a pile of stones
The tour itself was fine. The person from the agency who contacted me told me that at 845 I was at the Cathedral, I arrived 830 and it was 9:00. I sent him a message and it turns out that the hours were at 945, I was waiting for more than an hour in the cathedral and at 10 they call me that they were in Plaza rejoicing. They told me the wrong time and place.
Excelente service! Our guide Luis, was very knowledgeable and explained the history of the sites that we visit. My son felt lightheaded due to the altitude and Luis was very calm, pay and kind.
The fortress is an archaeological site 4 km from the center of Cusco. It is thought that it began to be built during the reign of Inca Pachacutec, in the 15th century. It is believed that more than 20,000 men extracted the stones from the nearby stones, and They transported it 20 kilometers to the hill of the city of Cusco. Today, it is estimated that Sacsayhuaman retains only 40 percent of its old structure. Worth a visit. This fortress is another example of Inca precision for cutting stones and building walls and walls.
