Plaza Independencia, gelegen in het hart van de hoofdstad sinds deze stad zijn eerste stappen zette, versterkt het stedelijke conglomeraat van Mendoza met zijn prachtige ontwerp en landschapsarchitectuur.
Het huis van de regering van de provincie Mendoza is gevestigd in een imposant gebouw van rationalistische stijl, gebouwd tussen 1951 en 1958, gelegen in het Civic District, omringd door een enorm park.
Het San Martín General Park werd in 1896 ontworpen door de architect Carlos Thays, de beroemde Franse landschapsschilder; het combineert de Engelse en Franse traditie van tuinieren uit de negentiende eeuw.
In het hart van het historische centrum van de oude stad, aan de Plaza Pedro del Castillo, voormalig Plaza de Armas en Plaza Mayor, ligt het Museum van de Fundamentele Ruimte, precies waar de Cabildo de Mendoza jaren geleden was.
Vroeger heette het "Cerro del Pilar", het is een van de meest bevoorrechte uitkijkpunten van de stad en werd in 1911 gekozen om het monument te plaatsen op een rots die symbool staat voor het Andes-terrein. Op de top van deze heuvel staat het monument dat de oversteek van het leger van de Andes onder het commando van generaal José de San Martín herdenkt om Chili en Peru te bevrijden en de onafhankelijkheid van Argentinië te consolideren.

Wonderful, all the tours were fantastic, we learned a lot, and we had an experience that was unique, from lunch, tasting and presentation on the way.
We went with driver Ariel and coordinator Rocio! We made stops at all places to take pictures and tour quietly. In colts we ate very rich! The coordinator loved her English!
We had the opportunity to visit three different wineries, and in each we lived unique and memorable experiences. It was a very well organized tour and full of special moments. Lunch was excellent, served inside one of the cellars. The quality of the food was remarkably superior compared to ordinary restaurants outside the vineyard. Everything was delicious and perfectly paired with local wines. The tour was divided into two groups, one in English and one in Spanish, which made everyone enjoy and fully understand the visit. We spent a lot of fun accompanied by friendly people and a very friendly and professional guide. Highly recommended for those who want to know the best of Mendoza wine culture!

Super good explanation of the city, they took us to the most relevant places in the city with super clear and easy to understand explanations. The vineyards were very good and close to the city.
Our guides, Gaston and Dolores, are excellent! Their descriptions and verbal illustration of Mendoza through an oral history, added much to the tour.
