Ik zal u de moskee vanaf het plein aanwijzen en de geschiedenis vertellen. Nadien bent u vrij om de omgeving van de moskee te bezoeken als u vrij bent. Omdat je geen moskeeën mag betreden.
We zullen praten en de geschiedenis van het centrale plein van Marrakech bespreken.
We gaan stoppen in de Joodse wijk , en dat is om u de geschiedenis van de Joden in Marokko te geven. Ook de Joodse wijk gaat terug tot de 16e eeuw.
een plaats uit de vroege geschiedenis van de 19e eeuw. werd bezet door de vizier van koning Bahmad en het Franse volk tijdens de kolonisatie 1912-1956.
Souks betekent de markten, tijdens deze tour zullen we verschillende delen van de markt ontdekken, elk met zijn specialiteit (leersectie, houtsectie, verversecties, tapijtcoöperaties)
We steken het smedengedeelte over waar de smeden verschillende ambachtelijke lampen , decoraties , deuren , ramen maken . En ook is het een kans voor u om te zien hoe onze eigen ambachtelijke werk.
We zullen het leergedeelte oversteken waar de ambachtsman sandalen , jassen , poefs , riemen en tassen van lederwaren maakt .

We booked this to help us navigate the souks and see some of the highlights of the Medina on our first morning.. Great guide, very friendly, cost known before tour so no surprises Abdel contacts you day before to confirm meeting place.
The perfect first-day orientation to Marrakech. Abdel is an exceptional guide — deeply knowledgeable about the city’s history, the souks, and the architecture, and brilliant at giving you the context behind what you’re seeing. We left able to navigate the medina on our own and genuinely understanding it. We visited in late June and the pacing, shade, and cool stops kept it comfortable throughout. Can’t recommend him enough.

Abdel was excellent. He showed us around the markets and explained to us the history of the old Mosque Madrasa Ben Youssef. We then visited the secret garden as well and it was a great place to end the tour. Hope to meet Abdel again whenever I come back to Marrakech, he was not only a great tour guide, but very friendly and warm.
This was a top notch walking tour of the Souks in Marrakech, about 3 1/2 hours duration with a slow pace and plenty of explanation of the Souks as well as Islamic history and culture. Very informative and our guide Saleem was the best. Learned a lot of history as well as current Moroccan culture. I would recommend 110%.

Abdul was lovely and friendly, he asked what we wanted from the tour and we told him. He did exactly that, it was a fab walking tour. There was 9 of us (all girls) but he knew exactly what we wanted, even before we fully told him. I would highly recommend him, he is extremely knowledgeable and fun with it.
