U begint uw deur-tot-deurexcursie met een bezoek aan de prestigieuze Majorelletuin, een rustgevende oase vlak bij en toch ver verwijderd van de bruisende stad, beschut tegen de tijd door hoge aarden muren. U maakt kennis met de intrigerende geschiedenis en leert alles over de Franse invloeden in de architectuur, de connectie met de iconische Franse ontwerper Yves Saint Laurent en de beroemde schilder/botanist Jacques Majorelle. U wandelt langs schaduwrijke lanen, ontdekt exotische planten en loopt langs verfrissende klaterende stroompjes en bassins vol waterlelies en lotusbloemen.
Daarna gaat u naar de koninklijke Kasbah in het zuidelijke deel van de oude medina van Marrakesh. Hier bevinden zich "El Mansouria" (de grote moskee van de kasbah, gebouwd door sultan Almohad Mansour al-Yacoub) en de Saaditombes. U brengt een bezoek aan de gerestaureerde Saaditombes, die zijn ontdekt in 1917. De tombes zijn vanwege de schoonheid van hun decoraties een belangrijke attractie voor bezoekers van Marrakesh. Het is één van de weinige overblijfselen van de Saadidynastie, die regeerde tijdens de gouden eeuw van Marrakesh tussen 1524 en 1659.
Ga verder naar de mooiste paleizen en monumenten van Marrakesh, het El-Bahipaleis. Dit paleis werd eind 19e eeuw gebouwd. De naam betekent letterlijk "glans" en het moest het grootste paleis uit die tijd worden. De beste vaklieden en kunstenaars van het land hebben zes jaar (1894-1900) onafgebroken aan de bouw van het paleis gewerkt.
Onder begeleiding van een deskundige, gecertificeerde gids maakt u een wandeling door de oude binnenstad van Marrakesh. Ontdek de verborgen en authentieke kant van de ommuurde medina van Marrakesh, wandel door enkele van de oudste wijken en ontdek de middeleeuwse manier van leven van de inwoners en hun dagelijkse bezigheden. Bewonder de torenhoge minaret, de gedetailleerd vormgegeven bogen, schitterende Moorse architectuur en sierlijke moskeeën, en wandel over de souks op het beroemde plein Djemaa El Fna, vol kraampjes met exotische goederen en intrigerende voorwerpen uit Marokko's verleden.
Deze historische islamitische school in het hart van Marrakesh werd gebouwd in de 14e eeuw en was ooit de grootste islamitische school in Noord-Afrika. Tegenwoordig staat de school op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO.

Nice tour through the souks and 3 other stops. Guide was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the presentations from the shop owners but didn’t buy a lot. We went with our 2 teenage boys. They really had fun buying scarves and getting them on as a turban.

This Full day Tour was a great experience with our guide Hassan! Our first stop on our tour was the YSL Museum which was stunning. Our guide was able to give us some fun facts about the museum as well as the designer before entering. Following the museum , we visited the Jardin Majorelle. This Garden was beautiful and so clean. For every stop our guide was able to provide us with some cultural and historical facts which added an extra touch to the tour. Hassan was a great guide! very informative, funny and friendly. Aziz led the 16 members of our extended family on a city tour of Marrakech. He led us to all of the sites we requested and helped us maneuver around the busy narrow streets. He gave us a historical background at each of the sites we visited and answered our many questions clearly and patiently. He was very helpful with guiding my wheelchair-bound 93-year-old mother and arranged for ground transportation as needed to make our tour smoother.
