Ontdek de oude hoofdstad van de Inca's terwijl je Cusco verkent tijdens deze excursie van een halve dag. Bezoek met een kleine groep belangrijke Inca- en koloniale locaties, waaronder Qorikancha, Sacsayhuaman, de kathedraal van Cusco en Puka Pukara. Nadat we zijn opgehaald op het centrale plein, begint onze tour in Qorikancha (Tempel van de Zon). Je zult genieten van een rondleiding van ongeveer 45 minuten om deze belangrijke religieuze plek te verkennen. Je bewondert de samensmelting van de Inca- en Spaanse koloniale architectuur terwijl je meer te weten komt over de geschiedenis en het culturele belang van deze plek. Na het bezoek gaan we richting onze volgende mobiliteitsstop.
Na ongeveer 20 minuten in het voertuig komen we aan in Saqsayhuamán, een indrukwekkend Inca-fort. Hier kunt u genieten van een rondleiding waarbij u zich kunt vergapen aan de enorme gebeeldhouwde stenen en imposante muren waaruit deze archeologische vindplaats bestaat. Je leert over Inca-bouwtechnieken en het historische en ceremoniële belang van Saqsayhuamán.
We vervolgen onze reis richting Qenqo, een ritueel centrum gelegen op een rotspunt. Je zult de mystiek van de plek voelen terwijl je de ondergrondse kamers en altaren verkent die in de rotsen zijn uitgehouwen. Je leert over Inca-rituelen en het wereldbeeld dat zich op deze heilige plek manifesteerde.
Na 15 minuten in het voertuig komen we aan bij Puca Pucara, een militair fort. Hier krijgt u de gelegenheid om deze rode constructie te verkennen en meer te weten te komen over de defensieve en strategische functie ervan tijdens het Inca-rijk.
Ons laatste bezoek is aan Tambomachay, bekend als de Baño del Inca. Deze plek werd gebruikt voor ceremonies en wateraanbidding. U zult de indrukwekkende stenen fonteinen en kanalen waarderen die de geavanceerde waterbouwkunde van de Inca's demonstreren. Later keren we terug van onze reis, we nemen het transport terug naar Cusco.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Ophalen vindt bij voorkeur plaats in het centrum en nabijgelegen gebieden. Ons coördinatieteam neemt contact met u op om de ophaaltijd door te geven. Onze transfer haalt je op met de kleding van het bureau, namelijk een blauwe helm en pet met het logo van een wereld.

Excellent experience with Victor. He had a lot of knowledge and was easily able to answer any questions. It was also very helpful for taking pictures. We took 4 hours on the tour and covered many places.
