De Speedboot gaat door de GRSE waterval wat een van de mooiste watervallen van Mauritius is. Daar krijg je de mogelijkheid om Apen te spotten en mag je ze ook voeren. De schipper zal u er doorheen leiden.
Ile aux Cerfs, ook wel bekend als Herteneiland, is het eerste oriëntatiepunt dat u van de boot landt. Hoewel het een populaire toeristische bestemming is, heeft het een eigen golfbaan en meet het tot 0,87 km2. U krijgt om het eiland te bezoeken, foto's te nemen en bezoek kleine winkels. Na een bezoek aan andere eilandjes wordt u lunch geserveerd op hetzelfde eiland (alleen speedboot). (U stapt uit in de voorkant van het eiland voor 20 minuten - tijdens de lunch gaat u terug naar het eiland voor de lunch -ongeveer 40 minuten)
Van een afstand vaart de speedboot langs het grondgebied van het Blue Marine park waar u af en toe een verscheidenheid aan vissoorten kunt spotten, evenals af en toe een zeeschildpad. Je krijgt ongeveer 20 - 30 minuten om te snorkelen. Snorkelen uitrusting zal worden verstrekt.
Een ander bezienswaardigheidsbezoek is Ile aux phares, ook bekend als Île aux Fouquets diende als een historisch oriëntatiepunt voor Mauritius. Daar krijgt u de gelegenheid om het eilandje, de ruïnes en de vuurtoren zelf te bezoeken die in 1864 zijn gebouwd.
De boot vaart dan verder naar de eilanden van Ile aux Aigrettes voor een gratis passanten uitzicht. Daar krijgt u de mogelijkheid om te zwemmen in kristalhelder turquoise water terwijl u geniet van een aperitief. U mag de eilanden niet betreden omdat het een natuurreservaat is en speciale toegang vereist.
Ile de la Passe, een ander historisch herkenningspunt dat tijdens de koloniale periode aanzienlijk diende, is een rotsachtig eilandje dat aan de baai van Grand Port ligt. Je krijgt het eiland van een afstand te zien, maar vanwege rotsachtige koralen rondom het eiland kan de boot niet naderen.
Ilot Flamants, ook bekend als Ile aux Flamants, is een klein zandbankeiland gelegen in het zuidoosten van Mauritius, in de lagune bij Mahebourg. Het is ongerept wit zand en helder turquoise water, waardoor het een populaire plek is voor ontspanning en wateractiviteiten zoals snorkelen en duiken. Afhankelijk van het getij nadert de boot de zandbank.

We had a lovely experience on 5 islands tour. Our guide Kenny made it very enjoyable. This trip was also half the price of the TUI trip and it was exactly the same. We booked directly with Chris who we met on the beach at Hotel Ambre. We were lucky to see wild dolphins up close which Kenny said is very rare to see in the shallow waters. Remember to bring bananas for the monkeys. We had such a lovely time and would not hesitate to book with Chris again.
What an absolutely unforgettable day! The 5 Islands Tour recommended by Chris was simply perfect in every possible way and became one of the highlights of our honeymoon in Mauritius. A very special thank you goes to our speedboat captain, Dony. He was a true professional – incredibly skilled, confident, friendly, genuine and warm-hearted. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable and safe with him. He made the whole experience feel relaxed, personal and truly special. The scenery was breathtaking, the atmosphere was fantastic, and every stop had something memorable to offer. The rum tasting definitely made the rest of the journey even smoother too! ;) We were also lucky enough to share the trip with a wonderful couple, and meeting them made an already amazing day even more special. Great people, great laughs, beautiful places and an unforgettable atmosphere from start to finish. This was not just a boat excursion – it was one of those days we will genuinely remember for a very long time. We had a fantastic fully packed day, seen dolphins, turtles and the cheeky monkeys. Picturesque waterfall, our guide Dony was amazing full of great facts and really made our day! The beaches were stunning. The speed boat was just so much fun. Food was brilliant. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chris and the 5 island trip to all. Made wonderful memories
Chris was a fabulous salesman and he didn’t exaggerate when he told us how amazing this trip would be! From start to finish, it was such a fun day. Our captain, Sparrow, was in high spirits because it was his birthday, which made the day even more entertaining. The vanilla rum and Coke was definitely a highlight — especially the stop where we got to sit in the sea at one of the islands, drinking rum and Coke. You honestly couldn’t ask for a better setting! 🌊🍹 We got to see dolphins and turtles, feed the monkeys, explore the islands and enjoy a fantastic lunch right on the beach. Lunch was so welcome after all the touring and was absolutely delicious. Beautiful scenery, great food, plenty of laughs and an amazing crew. Definitely one of the highlights of our Mauritius trip. We had a great time! We booked this trip through Chris, who approached us at our hotel, who was very friendly and professional. Booking and payment was easy. Joy, our tour guide, was amazing, also very friendly and knowledgeable! The trip lasted around 5 hours, and we were lucky enough to see monkeys, dolphins and a turtle! We snorkelled at an amazing reef with so many fish! The group was small and friendly. The BBQ lunch was tasty and very relaxed. We always had plenty of time at each stop, and never felt rushed. The trip cost us half of what it would have through Tui and we got to see so much! Would definitely recommend! Thank you for a great day!
