Ontmoet je gids bij de ingang van het paleis en begin met het verkennen van de zalen en kamers waar de Savoia, de Italiaanse koninklijke familie, woonde. Leer meer over de geheimen en de legendes rond het koningshuis en ontdek hun gouden schat: een prachtig paleis dat luxe viert. Bezoek de verbazingwekkende troonzaal, een schitterend voorbeeld van de Italiaanse barokstijl. Goud en edelstenen verfraaien de prachtige hal, symbool van de weelde van die periode. Betreed het koninklijke kantoor waar de koning zijn kroningsdocumenten tekende, en vele andere fascinerende en luxueuze kamers, zoals de balzaal of de appartementen. Sluit uw bezoek ten slotte af met de barokke kapel van de Heilige Lijkwade, die precies werd gebouwd om de Heilige Lijkwade te behouden. Ook al vind je het daar niet meer, want een grote brand dreigde het te vernietigen, dit is zeker een bezoek waard.

This was an awesome tour. The palace is big from the outside, but hidden behind its plain walls is a grand experience of wealth and history. Our guide was absolutely lovely and passionate about the history of the palace. I’m not going to pretend I had a lot of context going in, but I’ve now got a base understanding of the Savoys and how they ended up ruling Italy. Definitely looking forward to learning more! Overall, it’s a gorgeous building with lots of art, armor and design that anyone would find interesting. Intersect that with history from our guide and it was a ton of fun.

Alessio was a great guide! The tour was very informative and interesting. It was great to see all the highlights of the palace and understand the history and context. I was pleasantly surprised to also visit the breathtaking Chapel of the Shroud on the tour. Also pleasantly surprised that there was an art museum (Renaissance paintings by great masters and sculptures in the part we saw) and Roman antiquities museum included in the ticket (after the palace tour concluded). Great experience! Would highly recommend.
