There is so much to see at the Egyptian Museum and our tour guide helped us focus on the most important artifacts on display. He was very knowledgeable of Egyptian history and even helped decipher some of the heiroglyphics.
The tour was lovely. We were able to get a little coffee beforehand around the corner and then got started. The building is immense and you won’t be able to cover everything in this tour, but it was very in depth and you could tell how passionate our guide was about Egyptian history, the artifacts and the small details of each era, piece, and space. From stone work to actual mummies, and some digital recreations, you get a full view of Egypt from ancient to less ancient to old. If you enjoy history, definitely a worthy stop in Turin.
Very good, the guide was excellent. The explanations were very clear. It makes one want to go on a trip to Egypt.
Very informative in a limited way as the museum has so much information. Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained the history well. We couldn’t see every exhibit in the two hours but our guide did a good job with highlights and answering questions.
Very small group but a lot of others so some displays were hard to see. Much to see but our guide did an outstanding job. Full of information very knowledgeable. If you’re into Egyptian history don’t hesitate to go.
Exceptional exhibition and information, together with Nacer the guide it made made for the experience to remember
Exceptional guide with many years of experience in Egypt and other countries. I believe that for this type of museum and to better understand the various historical periods, it is necessary to have a guide; as for the professor who accompanied us for the 2 hours (which literally flew by), it is always a pleasure to listen to a highly knowledgeable person like her with a passion like hers.
Ask for an Egyptian guide, . He will also explain how we came to speak in Italian starting from sign language! Not only that, but also mathematics, astronomy, farming etc.
Great experience. The museum is full of Egyptian splendours. He lives up to his reputation. That's impressive. There's so much to see. And our guide, super professional. We learned many things against a background of humor. To do and redo
ti was important our guide could give details about life and customs ins elations to what was expose in the museum
