Als je op zoek bent naar een uniek avontuur dat geschiedenis, cultuur, wijn en eten combineert, dan is onze tour van een halve dag van Dubrovnik naar Trebinje de perfecte keuze. Deze tour neemt je mee op een reis door de prachtige landschappen en oude steden van de regio, waardoor je een insiderperspectief krijgt op de lokale manier van leven. Je avontuur begint met een pick-up van je hotel in Dubrovnik, vanwaar we je meenemen op een mooie rit door het prachtige landschap, waar je de kans krijgt om de glooiende heuvels, het weelderige groen en een prachtig uitzicht te bewonderen van de Adriatische Zee.

1600 jaar oud christelijk-orthodox klooster met wijnkelder en wijnproeverij. De meest verbazingwekkende wijnkelder met 7 vaten van elk 5000 liter hoogwaardige monetaire wijn. Een wijnproeverij is hier optioneel, maar aanbevolen omdat sommige wijnen gouden medaillewinnaars zijn op enkele van de grote Europese competities en op het moment dat deze tekst wordt geschreven slechts twee euro per glas vragen. Er zijn regels voor het bezoeken van de Orthodoxe Kerk die geen naakte schouders of zeer korte broeken en rokken toestaan, dus je kunt je eigen pashmina meenemen, maar als je die niet hebt, zullen ze er een verstrekken die je om je middel kunt doen.
De oude binnenstad van Trebinje, gelegen aan de rivier, biedt een ideale korte wandeling en koffiepauze.
Beroemd uitkijkpunt boven de oude binnenstad van Trebinje met uitzicht op de rivier en de beroemde Arslanagica-brug aan de rechterkant en de bergketens van Bosnië zover het oog reikt.
Een van de beste traditionele lokale restaurants in de regio biedt lokale specialiteiten tegen betaalbare prijzen.

A true 10/10. Our driver Marko was wonderful to be around, very knowledgeable, helpful and able to customize the tour to what you wanted or needed. The monastery was incredible, as was the town, restaurants and views along the way. This is a fantastic way to visit Bosnia for a day and anyone reading thing should go on this tour.
We had been to Dubrovnik before so we decided to take a tour to Bosnia. Our guide Marco was great. Gave us lots of information and adapted the tour to meet our limitations. He was also a vey charming guide. The trip was interesting to see how a developing country was. I would recommend this tour or any tour with Marco.

This was a truly exceptional and enriching experience. We booked the Experience Bosnia/Private Tour to Trebinje with Wine Tasting with Cava Tours and were completely blown away. Our guide, Luka, was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history and culture of the region. He made the journey engaging and informative, sharing stories and insights that you simply wouldn't get from a guidebook. Trebinje itself is a beautiful hidden gem, and the wine tasting was a delightful surprise. The local wines were excellent, and the setting was perfect. This tour is a wonderful way to step into another country for a day and get a glimpse of Bosnia's beautiful landscapes and warm hospitality. We highly recommend Cava Tours and especially want to thank Luka for making this such a memorable day. Five stars!

An amazing experience. Marko is an informative and experienced tour operator. He made the us welcome from start to finish. Wine tasting was fantastic, but the experience was amazing. Then had a wee grappa (and more) tasting, great fun. But… the best part… lunch!! OMG!! Way too much food and stuffed full of tasty goodness!! Definitely 10 out of 10 for this experience.
It was our last day in Dubrovnik and we wanted to do something different. Our guide Marko suggested a day trip that included a drive up the mountain for the best view of the old harbor and surrounding islands. Then we crossed the border to Bosnia and had a very interesting visit to the Monastery in Trebinje coupled with a wine tasting! After all the sightseeing Marko recommended a small restaurant with the most delicious meal of local dished at a fraction of the price we were used to paying.
