De betoverende ouderwetse stad Füssen ligt in de voetheuvels van de Alpen, omringd door een van de meest adembenemende natuurlijke omgevingen ter wereld. We had a lovely time on this tour and were very happy that we didn’t have to drive and coordinate parking ourselves as it’s a busy place. The castle and views from the bridge are absolutely worthwhile and we loved our guide, Leon. He was fantastic and kept us entertained the entire way.
While the view of the castle and surrounding area is lovely, this trip is more of a tourist trap. The cost for the bus ride to the parking lot is expensive and they charge extra for a bottle of water on the bus. Then you have to pay a separate fee to get a ride up to the castle and a separate fee to go into the castle. The castle is not complete - only a few rooms were finished - and the tour is brief (only 30 minutes) and you get little information. Recommend you try a different trip.
Truly some of the best views I’ve ever seen! The tour guide (Charlie) had a great energy and it was so nice to not worry about transportation for a day. I encourage people to pay the 24 euros at the Radius tours meeting point so you can see the inside of the castle!
I had a great time on this tour. Our tour guide Lana was amazing. She knew a lot about the areas we were traveling through as well as informing us about King Ludwig II. I would recommend this tour to everyone and hope they get Lana as a tour guide.
