What an amazing night we had. 2 adults and our 13 year old daughter. We paid for the gold package..had waiter service, lots of cocktails, nice food. The shows were brilliant. Our daughter loved it, we had a great spot. Would definitely recommend

What an awful experience! I went 4 years ago and had the most amazing experience! I took my partner this time and could only describe it as torture. The only reason we did not leave is we needed to wait for our pickup. I can only describe it as a club atmosphere with a minute of show here and there. We were on the 3rd floor down the sides and although the view down was good, all we could feel was the balcony vibrating with every beat. We were constantly choking on the smoke blowers and the ringing from the speakers lasted hours! What made it more difficult was the row was by a wall and the waiter needed to keep getting past so I could not stand and dance- the stools were incredibly uncomfortable! We paid for gold and the drink were AWFUL! Alcohol content was non existent and I felt sad for all the older couples who looked like they were not enjoying it after being led to believe they were watching a show! After raving about it for years, I would never recommend it again. Absolutely not worth the £160 unless you are someone who dances to the dance cams, kiss for the kiss cams and down spirits for the shot cams. In which case, you’ll love it

Manny the cameraman was amazing and so was Miguel. He didn’t leave our drinks empty once and was very polite and friendly

What an amazing experience we booked with the official seller from our hotel his name was jorge santamaria he looked after us from start to finish if you get the chance to see him I would highly recomend using him as your guide

My parents went and loved it, the day after they looked after our kids and we went and loved it. It is an awesome show, the staff give fantastic service, this show really is an absolute must!

⭐ 2/5 – Outstanding show ruined by terrible Gold Ticket experience The entertainment at Cocobongo Playa del Carmen was excellent — the dancers and performances were truly second to none and the highlight of the night. However, the Gold Ticket service was an absolute disappointment and not worth the high price at all. We were let in at the very last minute and forced to stand in a long queue. Once inside, we were shoved right at the back, on the top level, with an extremely poor view of the stage. We could barely see anything. The so-called “included” food was pathetic — a dry hot dog in bread with cold chips — and we had to chase staff down to even get it while others were being served. To make matters worse, we were constantly pressured to buy more expensive drinks after already paying a premium for the ticket. Warning: Seating appears to be based on how you look. If you’re not young, dressed up, or “camera-ready,” expect to be hidden at the back. Do yourself a favour and request a good seat in advance if you buy Gold — or just skip the upgrade entirely. The Gold package is misleading and poor value. Fantastic show, but the Gold Ticket experience was frustrating and disappointing. Manage your expectations or avoid the upgrade.

Wow this place is something else. A must visit and worth doing the golf package so you have a seat with waiter service. Drinks were flowing all night and you get a choice of hamburger and fries or hot dog. The show was outstanding as was the music and atmosphere.

Booked a GOLD ticket through the coco bongo rep at our hotel Viva Azteca in playacar. We were really looking forward to a spectacular night of entertainment but what load of rubbish and a big let down. Waited ages in the queue to get in and this was supposed to be skip the queue gold member ticket! We were cramped in like sardines, you literally couldn't move, the equivalent of sitting on a hard wooden bench with no space in between each person. Food was a joke... Dried up burger and cold fries Decent service from the waiter was the only good thing. When the show was on the performers were brilliant but it was literally 2 or 3 minutes of performance and the nearly half an hour of watching the big screen showing some of the audience, the camera man zooming in on women not wearing much and playing up to the filming in a very sleazy way. A very expensive waste of money, you're better off going to a good club and having room to dance, this was nothing more than a perv fest. £125.00 per adult plus transport.
