Vanaf Boca dos Namorados ongeveer 1000 meter hoog, kunt u genieten van het prachtige uitzicht over de vallei van de Nonnen. Ervaar dan een geweldige off-road in onze open dak 4x4 naar Jardim DA Serra bekend om zijn Cherry productie. Neem een pauze bij ons in een typisch Madeiraanse bar, waar elk slokje vers gemaakte Poncha een verhaal vertelt uit het verleden van het eiland, wat de lokale economie helpt (niet inbegrepen). Cabo Girão, een van de hoogste zeekliffen van de wereld met 580 meter, bekend als skywalk, biedt een spectaculair panoramisch uitzicht over de Atlantische Oceaan (2 € niet inbegrepen). Ons avontuur leidt ons naar Henriques & Henriques Madeira wijnlodge, waar u de kans krijgt om verschillende Madeira wijnen te proberen, van zoet tot droog (3 jaar oud). Tot slot zullen we onze reis door de prachtige landschappen van Ma DEira beëindigen, we bezoeken het zeer beroemde vissersdorp Câmara de Lobos. Belangrijk : Deze wijnproeverij is volledig gratis. Houd er rekening mee dat bezoeken aan Henriques & Henriques wijnlodge mogelijk niet beschikbaar zijn tijdens bepaalde Portugese feestdagen.

Brilliant jeep tour. Saw some lovely parts of the island. The guides are very friendly and super knowledgeable. A very enjoyable and food value tour.
We enjoyed the tour somewhat. It was a bit difficult to understand the driver/guide and the four of us had to climb in & out of the back of the 4x4 and had to sit facing each other. It was difficult, at time, to see the sights because the windows were lower than our sight line. The Skywalk was very cool and we did visit some beautiful areas with scenic views. Unfortunately, we were told that the winery was closed that day and we weren't able to do the Madeira wine tasting, which was disappointing. The guide did take us to a place to try the poncha, a locally made drink, but we had to pay for that. He probably should have covered the cost to make up for the missed wine tasting.
Excellent tour! Tony was a fun and informative guide. A great “mini” tour of the island, there is so much to see! Next time we will book a whole day.
To visit for the view. Generally, there are too many people. A coffee break for even the beautiful landscapes of Madeira with a magnificent view of Funchal.

We travelled in an open top Land Rover which are not the most comfortable but more than adequate for the trip. Our driver was excellent and very informative in respect of the islands flora and fauna
After a mixup the boys picked us up near the port. Then off on a fabulous tour up the mountain in 4x4 range rovers. Magnificent views and sights all over. Few stops to try local delicacies like Poncha (lol) maderia wine (had to buy a bottle for medicinal purposes lol) sky walk or in my case sky run. The tour guides were brilliant. Highly recommend a fabulous half day out over this beautiful island.
