Pena-paleis Een verbazingwekkend sprookjesachtig paleis gelegen op een van de hoogste toppen van het Sintra-gebergte. Het Pena-paleis werd in de 19e eeuw gebouwd door koning-gemaal Ferdinand II van Portugal. Hij veranderde een 16e-eeuwse kloosterruïne in een van de meest eclectische paleizen in Europa door er verschillende soorten gotische, Egyptische, Moorse en renaissance-elementen in te mengen. Rond het paleis legde hij een park aan waar hij verschillende exotische boomsoorten van over de hele wereld plantte.
Passeer de prachtige stranden van Cascais, waaronder het schilderachtige Praia do Guincho.
Aan het einde van de tour rijdt je gids door het natuurpark van Sintra naar Cabo da Roca, de meest westelijke plek van continentaal Europa.
De Boca do Inferno is een interessante klifformatie in de buurt van Cascais, die de overdreven dramatische naam Hell's Mouth heeft gekregen. Het onophoudelijke beuken van de Atlantische Oceaan op de kliffen deed een kleine grot ontstaan, die vervolgens instortte en een kleine baai en natuurlijke boog vormde.

Both the agency when hiring the tour and the guide were highly efficient!!! Bruno our guide not only told us the things about the tour but also extended to details that were frankly anecdotal!!! A pleasure and recommendation of 10!!!

We had a fun-filled trip with our guide Bruno, whose sense of humor made the experience even more enjoyable. The facilities and timing were perfectly organized. I would highly recommend this trip—my favorite highlight was the stunning Pena Palace.
The castle is very nice, we also saw Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascéis, but the driver drove fatally and we felt afraid on several occasions. Dire driving!

Magnificent excursion. We hired a private tour for 7 people and Paolo took us everywhere very gracefully and effectively. He explained many things to us in the Palace of Pena q made us enjoy it more if possible. Then at the end of Rock and in Cascais we advised very well to eat. Unforgettable day, thank you Paolo

We joined this day trip in Cascais. Wonderful nature on the way to Sintra. So green and hilly. Thanks to the perfect organization and timing of our guide Paulo, from Tugatrips, we were able to enter anywhere with our small group without having to join the long lines everywhere. Our guide also took into account the condition of his guests and several times an alternative was offered to the participants. For example, there could be chosen for a walk uphill or rather a shuttle bus. Still some stairs to do here.
