Ervaar de natuurlijke en historische schoonheid van Portugal tijdens een dagtrip met een kleine groep van Lissabon naar Sintra en Cascais. Slechts een paar uur van de hoofdstad van Portugal, Sintra is een magische plek waar mens en natuur bestaan in perfecte harmonie. Ontdek geheime paden in Pena Park, bewonder de natuurlijke wonderen van Sintra Natural Park en de kliffen van Roca Cape, en bezoek het grillige Pena National Palace. Geniet van een schilderachtige rit langs de Atlantische kust en stop bij Cascais Beach. Wandel rond Cascais stad en baai.

Begin uw tour met de reis naar Sintra. Bezoek Pena Park, waar u versteld zult staan van de verscheidenheid aan paden, bomen en andere planten. Voel je vervolgens als Portugese koninklijke familie als je het romantische Pena National Palace op de top van de Sintra-berg betreedt. Zie de Grote Triton, de bewaker van het paleis, geïnspireerd door Manuelijnse kunst. Binnen in het paleis, bewonder de aandacht voor detail in de slaapkamers van de koning en koningin en de Arabische Kamer. Pena Palace tickets zijn alleen inbegrepen als optie "Tickets Park & Palace Inbegrepen" is geselecteerd. Pena Park tickets en rondleiding zijn alleen inbegrepen als de opties "Tickets Park & Palace Inclusief" of "Tickets Pena Park Inclusief" zijn geselecteerd.
Verlaat het paleis en volg je Gids naar het historische centrum van Sintra, waar je vrije tijd hebt om de stad te verkennen. Je kunt het Sintra National Palace op eigen gelegenheid bezoeken, waar de Portugese royalty van de 15e en 16e eeuw de zomermaanden doorbracht (op eigen kosten) of een drankje en een hapje nam (op eigen kosten). Probeer een travesseiro of een queijada, twee heerlijke lokale gebakjes.
Bewonder vervolgens het landschap van Sintra Natural Park op weg naar de volgende stop. Geniet van een fotomoment op de kliffen van Roca Cape (Cabo da Roca), het meest westelijke punt van Europa.
Kom langs het surfparadijs Guincho Beach.
Passeer de klif bij Hell’s Mouth (Boca do Inferno), voordat je stopt om je benen te strekken langs de baai van Cascais.
Vrije tijd om te lunchen en rond te dwalen in het centrum van Cascais, een voormalig vissersdorp en tegenwoordig een populaire vakantieplek. Volg je Gids door smalle steegjes en zie de traditionele Portugese witte huizen of geniet van wat tijd ontspannen op het strand. Als de optie "Upgrade naar Regaleira" werd gekozen, is de tijd die in Cascais wordt doorgebracht 60 minuten.
Op de rit terug naar Lissabon waar uw tour eindigt, geniet u van het schilderachtige uitzicht langs de Atlantische kust en in de stad Estoril.
Na een introductie van uw Gids kunt u genieten van vrije tijd om de spectaculaire Quinta da Regaleira te verkennen, met zijn betoverende tuinen, mysterieuze tunnels en iconische Inwijdingsput. Dit bezoek is alleen inbegrepen wanneer de optie “Upgrade naar Regaleira opnemen” is geselecteerd. Belangrijke opmerking : door deze upgrade is de tijd die in Cascais wordt doorgebracht 1 uur (en niet 1 uur en 30 minuten)

- In onze voertuigen is geen plaats voor kinderwagens en bagage
- Als de boeking voor meer dan 8 personen is, kan de groep in aparte voertuigen worden verdeeld
- In het hoogseizoen, zeer zelden, zou kunnen worden gebruikt in een minibus met 24 zitplaatsen
- Voor boekingen zonder tickets : tickets voor Palace op dezelfde dag kunnen beperkt zijn. Alternatieven zijn een verblijf in de buurt van de ingang van het park of het kopen van een Park-only ticket (geen Paleis of begeleid bezoek). Bevestig plannen met uw Gids in de ochtend.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience on our recent Sintra/Cascais tour. Fabio was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and willing to answer any questions. Peña Palace was amazing and Fabio gave us a wealth of information of the history of the palace. We then had time on our own in Sintra. Fabio gave us recommendations for shopping and places to get pastries or wine. In Cascais, we had a delicious seafood lunch at a restaurant also recommended by Fabio. We were also given additional recommendations for restaurants and rooftop bars for our stay in Lisbon. It was a great experience. Thank you, Fabio, for a fun tour!
Our guide grew up and still lived in the area. He knew the history and loved living there. He was able to answer questions and was responsive to the needs of the group (took care of us). Great tour! Lots of walking due to large properties you will visit.

Miguel was an excellent guide with a thorough knowledge of Portugal’s history, which he skillfully incorporated into engaging stories that provided fascinating context for the sights we were seeing. He also had a great eye for identifying subtle symbolism and details that we likely would not have noticed or understood without his engaging narrative. His knowledge and storytelling greatly enhanced the experience. Despite the quality of the sights and Miguel as a guide, I am rating the tour three stars because of the transportation. The tour was described as a small-group experience in an air-conditioned small van. Unfortunately, the air conditioning did not work, making for an extremely uncomfortable and frustrating day. This was clearly not Miguel’s fault. In fact, he was visibly upset by the issue and contacted the tour company during the day to express his displeasure on our behalf. Unfortunately, we still had to endure the uncomfortable conditions for the entire tour, and the tour company never offered an apology or any form of partial refund despite the significant inconvenience. That was very disappointing and frustrating. Miguel deserves considerable credit for doing his best to provide an excellent tour despite circumstances beyond his control, but the transportation issue significantly detracted from what otherwise could have been a terrific experience.
A fantastic day trip! Our tour guide Antonio was brilliant. He had a great sense of humor & his knowledge was outstanding! We had a very enjoyable day visiting Sintra palaces & Cascai & thoroughly recommend.
Really great tour visiting some lovely places and seeing some gorgeous scenery on the drive to different locations. Our guide, Yann, was really nice, informative and friendly. You go in small groups so it's not overcrowded either.
Our guide Filipe Brandao was amazing. Didn’t feel like a guide but more like a very knowledgeable friend. He was very good with the kids and gave hs plenty of time everywhere. He’s a Lisbon local and his English was fluent and very easy to understand. Didn’t feel rushed anywhere. Would most definitely recommend this tour with Filipe to anyone.
I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Pena Palace and the Reguleira were picturesque. Cascais was the lunch stop and it was a beautiful spot with multiple places to get seafood. The fresh fish that is offered at the local restaurants is a must try! Antonio Castro was my tour guide and he was fantastic. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lisbon.
