Sidon - Tyre - Maghdouche-reis, vanuit Beiroet

Beschrijving

Very good experience to know more about Libano and its history. Driver was very gentle and he helped me with my needs (ATM, dropping, speaking..)
We had a wonderful day trip with Ziad! He showed us many historic sites and told us fascinating stories about the history and culture of the area. He also took us to important landmarks and local markets. Ziad explained everything so clearly that we got a real sense of the local life and traditions. It was a great day with Ziad.
Our tour with Ziad was just great! He was incredibly friendly from the start and impressed us with his extensive knowledge. No matter what questions we had, Ziad always had an interesting and informed answer. The tour itself was very varied and perfectly organized. We collected many exciting impressions and felt safe and comfortable at all times. I would particularly like to highlight that Ziad not only conveys facts, but also shares stories and backgrounds that bring Lebanon to life. I can absolutely recommend Lebanon and this tour as a destination – during my trip I always felt safe. I will definitely come back! Thanks for the great time.
Another amazing tour with Zingy Ride. I can’t recommend them highly enough. From booking through to the day of the tour, they were great. The tour itself is fascinating and takes in so many important historical places. Mahdi is a great tour guide.
Robin was great! He was friendly and personable. I enjoyed my tour very much and as I was on a solo tour, I saw quite a bit. Thank you Robin for a fun day out!
My guide Wissam picked me up on time after some good communication. He briefly explained the day's itinerary to me and also explained some additional options as I was the only traveler. We then drove to Saida and I visited the castle of Saida with the great harbor view (entrance fee about 4500 LL). Afterwards, we had a quick walk around the Saida souk. Next up was the ruins of Tyre (Sour). The entrance fee here was 400,000 LL. You can take a careful look at this landscape, but there are some animals living in the ruins (mainly lizards, but also snakes). The ruins are impressive, especially as they border the Palestinian refugee camp. My last stop was the church in Maghdouche and the beautiful forecourt. Wissam offered me a break several times and was very attentive and friendly the whole time. At no point did I worry about my safety. Sour and Saida in particular are really beautiful places that are well worth a visit.

Very good driver Flexible tour company There was a lot to see and the driver spoke good English
We were with just 3 people for this tour that visits both archaeological sites in Tyre, the Christis shrine in Maghedouche and the sea castle and souq in Sidon. In Sidon we visited the Debbane ottoman mansion instead of the soap factory. We convinced the guide to have lunch in the expensive restaurant overlooking the sea castle in Sidon, rather than the proposed restaurant, a tent, next to the 4 lane busy road. Driver was rather quiet, but friendly. For the 2 archeological sites there was a local archeologist as a guide, who was very knowledgeable. However, as on all guided tours in Lebanon, everything felt rushed.
I had a very nice trip with nice people and our nice guide and driver mr. Wissam to Sidon, Tyre and Magdouche
