Zie gevreesde roofdieren in een haaienkooiduik voor de ultieme adrenalinestoot of geniet gewoon van de actie vanaf het dek, tijdens een dagtocht naar Gansbaai. Er is geen eerdere duikervaring nodig en er wordt gezorgd voor uitrusting plus instructie. Vermijd de drukte en verken in uw eigen tempo met een vriendelijke, professionele gids in een luxe voertuig met airconditioning. We nemen de schilderachtige route Sir Lowry's Pass met een koffiestop aan de top en dan verder naar de haven van Gansbaai waar de boot vertrekt. Na de boottocht rijden we terug naar Kaapstad langs de pittoreske Gordon's Bay zeeroute. Deze rondreis is een must voor beginnende bezoekers van het Kaapse schiereiland. Afzetten bij uw accommodatie aan het einde van een geweldige ervaring. * NB - de kosten van de haaienduikervaring zijn extra (R 3455 per persoon). De boottocht is niet privé - passagierscapaciteit ongeveer 30.

It was such a long way from Cape Town city literally takes the whole day for about an hour boat ride and only 10 minutes in the shark cage. Would not recommend if you do not have much time. Not worth it.
Our shark diving boat trip is never an hour long - it's always at least 3 hours. Perhaps you have confused us with another company?
Dave was our driver and absolutely fantastic! It was a 2.5-3 hr drive to Gansbaai and Dave kept us entertained with history and conversation the whole time. We were contacted ahead of time and had great conversation about where we were from (Dave researched our state before he arrived), what to expect, and was in no short supply of “dad jokes”, also went out of his way to ensure we were able to visit a penguin colony. Highly recommended to feel safe, be picked up in a beautiful car and enjoy the ride. Honestly an easy brained compared to the other ride options. The shark diving was also fantastic, very humbling to see large sharks emerge out of the merry water (about 5-7 separate sharks) Also saw a beautiful, curious stingray.

This experience was by far the best I’ve had on the many international trips I’ve take. Our tour guide, Mike, was the nicest, funniest and most knowledgeable person we met in Capetown. Mike was telling us facts about Capetown and history of SA from the minute we were picked up till he dropped us off. He was an excellent driver and made it his goal to be safe, while making sure we all had the best time of our lives and we did! I would recommend not only this package, but Mike as your tour guide for anything you do in Capetown. The whole time I felt safe with him and had a blast. Thank you so much for that great experience Mike! I will never forget this day and will be telling everyone back home to ask for you.

This was an outstanding experience start to finish. Our guide picked us up punctually in Cape Town, and our ride to Gansbaai was comfortable. The handoff to the shark diving tour was seamless and smooth. The actual diving was amazing. We saw 7-8 copper sharks repeatedly. Incredible. Ride home with our guide, Dave, was smooth again. He was an excellent source of information and warm conversation. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip. Highly recommend!
We got to see sharks which was awesome! It was so much fun. Our tour guide was so nice and knowledgable. They really went to of our way to make sure we were happy. However, it did say in the description in the tour that we would also stop at one of three places either a vineyard, a hike or visit penguins. We didn't do any of that nor was that even offered to us. It was a long day because the shark place was 2.5 hours away, however I would have preferred that it wasn't even in the description then. I was looking forward to either the penguins or the hike. That was the only downside.
Thank you for your review and I am delighted that you had a great time. Unfortunately the recent roadworks on the way to the Gansbaai harbour have made it impossible to include the extra activities. I have, however, taken on board your valid criticism regarding this and have amended our product description accordingly.
Mike was very prompt for the early morning pickup and attentive to our needs for the shark diving adventure. He kept our bags safe while we went out on the boat to see the sharks in the area. The great white sharks aren't promised, but we did see many sharks that were very close to the cage!! After diving, Mike took us on a scenic ride back and stopped at a winery for a tasting because we had expressed interest. We also stopped to pet the cheetahs at the Cheetah conservation. A very special time in Cape Town and a highly recommended Born in Africa tour company and Mike the guide.
Mike was an awesome tour guide for the Shark Cage Diving. He picked us up early morning and we arrived plenty early. He watched our backpacks and was very interesting to talk with. One they way back we took a different scenic route and stopped at a winery for a tasting. Mike made sure we had what we needed from the tour and then some! Highly recommend Out of Africa for your tour guides!
Dave was an incredible tour guide! He picked us up from our location for our Shark Diving tour - he answered all questions we had about the tour, provided us with WONDERFUL conversation and made sure we were comfortable at all times. During our tour, we saw 5 Great White sharks, 20+ Copper head sharks, seals and a Southern right whale - it was a fantastic day! He was extremely polite, respectful and really fun - he truly was a huge part in making our trip to South Africa so fantastic! I cannot recommend this company enough - not only was Dave respectful and courteous, but extremely kind, professional and light hearted. .... as a bonus, he also owns a sleek JAG, which is what you will be picked up in!
We booked a trip to go on the shark diving excursion. There were some problems because of the weather and it was postponed but Dave went out of his way to make it happen for us on the day. Dave made alternative arrangements right away and we still managed to get to see the sharks. No problem for Dave. So nice that he went to the extra effort for us. Great day out. Highly recommend Dave Coxford. Friendly, helpful and goes the extra mile to make it a pleasure experience.
