Onze exclusieve route bezoekt de verborgen pareltjes van Ang Thong Marine Park, waaronder kajakken naar een geheime lagune en Paradise Beach. Geniet van een afgelegen snorkelplek, bezoek het Blue Lagoon-uitkijkpunt als er geen andere groepen in de buurt zijn en kom terug na zonsondergang. Onze ervaren bemanning combineert authentieke Thaise gastvrijheid met Europese vaarnormen en biedt een persoonlijke dag van verkenning en ontspanning. Begin uw reis in het zuidwesten van Koh Samui, waar we de pittoreske Five Islands passeren. Deze eilanden herbergen een mysterieus en zelden gezien fenomeen, het oogsten van vogelnesten.
Onze eerste stop in de archipel van Ang Thong Marine Park is ook de meest afgelegen en magische plek, exclusief voor onze tour. Maak een begeleide zeekajaktocht langs de kustlijn om de dramatische kliffen, kalkstenen eilanden, grotten, magische tunnels en een geheime lagune te verkennen. Of spring op onze bijboot die de kajaks vergezelt.
Vaar noordwaarts voorbij de wateren van het Marine Park, naar Koh Wao, waar u de beste snorkellocaties vindt.
Als we verder naar het noorden varen, bereiken we de Ko Wao-eilandengroep, die enkele van de beste locaties biedt om het levendige tropische rif te verkennen. Het wordt beschouwd als een van de top 20 snorkellocaties in Thailand. Wij zijn het enige niet-speedbootschip dat deze bestemming bereikt. We zullen de optimale locatie selecteren, afhankelijk van de omstandigheden, om ervoor te zorgen dat u de best mogelijke onderwaterreis hebt. Na een korte veiligheidsbriefing zal onze bemanning je voorzien van complete snorkeluitrusting en je meenemen op een begeleide onderwatertour om een geweldig leven in zee te zien. Niet-zwemmers en jonge kinderen zijn van harte welkom om in ons drijvend vlot te stappen, waarmee u het tropische rif kunt bekijken vanuit de veiligheid van een vlot.
We gaan terug naar het mariene park en passeren Ko Lao Yu om van het landschap te genieten. Op dit punt bieden we u een heerlijke lunchbuffet terwijl u langs de meest interessante kalkstenen eilanden van het Ang Thong-park reist, die uit de zee oprijzen als dramatische rotswanden en bizarre rotsformaties.
Koh Thong Thaeng is een van de grotere eilanden in het Marine Park, en een schoonheid om te aanschouwen.
Vervolgens passeren we Ko Wa Noi op weg naar Ko Mae Ko om de Blue Lagoon te zien.
Als we naar het zuiden gaan, passeren we ook Ko Sam Sao of het eiland met drie zusters, met zijn opmerkelijke natuurstenen brug die zich uitstrekt in de zee, met schone witte zandstranden.
Ko Mae Ko is de plek waar je de beroemde "Blue Lagoon" vindt, de inspiratie voor het boek van Alex Garland en de latere film "The Beach". Ook bekend als het "Emerald Lake", noemen de locals het "Talay Nai", wat "in zee" betekent en het wordt algemeen beschouwd als het hoogtepunt van het Ang Thong Marine Park. We zijn de laatste boot die Ko Mae Ko mag bezoeken, wat betekent dat we geen andere georganiseerde reizen ontmoeten.
Hier kunt u besluiten om naar het uitkijkpunt te klimmen of te ontspannen op het afgelegen strand. Beklim de steile trappen langs smalle ravijnen om een panoramisch uitzicht op de 42 eilanden van het park te bereiken. Zodra we de top hebben bereikt, ga je naar de andere kant om het volledig ingesloten zoutwatermeer van dichterbij te bekijken, dat naast zijn schoonheid ook fungeert als een natuurlijke kwekerij voor allerlei zeedieren.
Als we teruggaan naar Ko Samui, komen we ook langs Ko Wua Talap, het hoofdkwartier van het Marine Park.
Vaar langs Phaluai Island, een van de weinige bewoonde eilanden in het Ang Thong Marine Park, de thuisbasis van een kleine gemeenschap van "zee-zigeuner" vissers, de oorspronkelijke mensen die zich in de Samui-archipel vestigden. Geniet van de schilderachtige cruise terug naar Ko Samui, koel af met een paar drankjes en een bananensplit op het dek, of neem een duik in onze jacuzzi. Op de meeste dagen zul je een prachtig uitzicht op de zonsondergang omarmen die je een leven lang bijblijft.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Wij geven u een ophaaltijd zodra wij uw accommodatie opzoeken. Een dag voor vertrek zullen wij de exacte ophaaltijd updaten/herbevestigen. Als uw accommodatie niet bereikbaar is via onze minibusjes, wordt u gevraagd om ons vervoer op een nabijgelegen locatie te ontmoeten. Houd er rekening mee dat een adres onvoldoende is om een accommodatie op Koh Samui te vinden. Voor particuliere accommodaties / Airbnb, vragen we dat u contact met ons opneemt met een contactnummer voor de accommodatie of gedetailleerde routebeschrijving / Google Map Point. Zodra we de woning hebben gevonden, zullen we u adviseren over pick-up regelingen.

Fantastic Crew, Extremely Friendly and attentive. Amazing day out. Food was great, boat was very clean and safe and the best part were the crew. Made you feel special and welcomed.
From the pickup to the return, everything was perfect, a top-notch team that is attentive, cooks who made us 2 excellent meals for breakfast and lunch. The spots visited are worthy of a movie and we did not come across any other excursions! Thanks again for this perfect day!
Overall a good experience and a nice crew
Overall a 5 Star experience. Two, Ellen and Monkey-man are fantastic and honor of thier way to ensure you’re safe and having fun. Break, lunch and the snacks are great. The kayaking is a must and is one of the best things I’ve done in Thailand. Small downsides you should be aware of. Semi-private = about 35 ppl. The Red Dragon yatch isn’t what any American or European would think of as a yatch but it’s nice enough. Larger downside. The group is just a tad too large for the Red Dragon. Maybe 4-6 people less would be perfect but we were left standing at lunch waiting for a table.
A truly wonderful day from pick up to drop off. Highly recommended. Every single staff member (and there were lots of them) go above and beyond to make sure you are all very well looked after and made to feel welcome. Lots of attention to detail and knowledgeable staff. The food (breakfast and lunch) was delicious with plenty of choice. Soft drinks and water are plentiful and freely available throughout the tour. Motion sickness tablets are offered, just in case you might need them - it wasn’t too rough a trip though. Kayaking, snorkelling and the lagoon were all great to do, with some beautiful sights. The boat is comfortable and there is ample room because it’s purposefully not filled anywhere near capacity, with the number capped at 28 on the Red Dragon. All four of us loved it, including our birthday girl. Book it, you genuinely won’t be disappointed!
We had a great time. We went with 2 children, 9 months and 6 years old. The staff was really attentive and sweet with the children, and offered great alternatives to join the kayaking (in a dinghy) and snorkeling (in a small floating net) that suited us well. Thanks a lot!
The weather was rough, so the experience was cancelled, which is fine - of course no one can control the weather. It was a bad experience because they had already picked us up and we were on the boat for ten minutes, they had just told us the whole plan and it sounded great, and then told us we had to cancel (and the guy sounded like he was joking? he needs to not smile when giving bad news) they definitely could have checked the weather ten minutes before, when we weren’t on the boat yet. It seems like the reason why is because this specific boat is old or a special kind of boat that needs very perfect weather - we saw another one of their boats continue on as we turned back. I think it should be clear that this tour is more likely to get canceled than other tours. Also, they weren’t very nice about it in general or clear about why. We also tried to rebook and they weren’t flexible. They did give a refund very quickly, and gave free breakfast.
I am sorry we canceled the tour on the morning of the tour, and could not accommodate your rescheduling request, as we had limited availability and the weather was forecast to worsen. Shortly after departing, we got reports of inclement weather at the remote islands we visit for kayaking and snorkeling, and decided to cancel and return to Koh Samui. Our two guides have informed the guests of the cancellation and referred questions about rescheduling/refund to our management or agent, as they do not have the detailed reservation status. Concerning our guide, smile when giving bad news. We know this can be confusing; Thai people smile when they feel uncomfortable. In Thailand, smiling is a complex form of non-verbal communication and social lubricant, not strictly an indicator of happiness. Thai culture places a high value on maintaining social harmony, "saving face," and avoiding confrontation, making a smile the default response to awkwardness or discomfort. As advised in our tour information, this experience required good weather conditions as we visited the most remote island of the park. We do understand that it is disappointing for you to learn that we cannot run the tour due to inclement weather. However, in our commitment to excellent customer service, we cancel tours when conditions prevent us from providing a safe and enjoyable experience on our tour. We were a large group of 8 celebrating our sons 21st birthday. The day was absolutely perfect with J making him feel incredibly special. The food was divine, the drinks plentiful and the space on the boat was fantastic. So many surprises on the way which I won't spoil for you but let's just say service was next level. If you are considering a tour of Ang Thong, go with these guys. I would do it all again if I could.

This was such a FUN excursion! Our family, 2 adults and kids 10-14yo, had a fun time. Too, our main guide, Ellen and Monkey Man, all were extremely friendly and helpful. Too kept us all informed with just enough information to be helpful, and kept it short and entertaining. Set your expectations for snorkeling as the water is not crystal blue clear, but it was still a nice experience. The boat really thought of everything to make the excursion fun and enjoyable! The stops were all beautiful. Definitely would recommend!
