Ontsnap aan de drukke stranden van Koh Samui tijdens een ontspannen dagtrip naar Koh Tan en Pig Island (Koh Madsum). Na het ophalen van het hotel reist u naar het rustigere zuiden van het eiland, waar een kortere landtransfer wordt beloond met een snelle en soepele speedboottocht over kalme, ondiepe wateren – ideaal voor degenen die lange boottochten liever vermijden. Geniet bij Koh Tan van een lichte snorkelstop in ondiepe rifgebieden. De omstandigheden en het zicht kunnen variëren afhankelijk van het weer, maar de stop biedt een aangename kans om te zwemmen, te drijven of gewoon te ontspannen. De ervaring is ontworpen om rustig te zijn in plaats van gericht op intensief snorkelen. Koh Madsum of Varkenseiland. Het is een populair eiland om te genieten van het witte zandstrand, en het biedt ook geweldige mogelijkheden om te relaxen in de zon. Er zijn veel mooie varkens op het eiland. Je kunt ermee spelen en daar een mooie foto maken.
Koh Tan wordt hier omringd door ongerepte koraalriffen en puur witte zandstranden. Dit eiland is een leuke plek om te snorkelen en echte echte onderwaterbeestjes te zien (papegaaivissen, koraal), en ook om te lunchen in het restaurant.
Geniet van een heerlijke lunch in Koh Tan Coral Beach Restaurant terwijl u geniet van het prachtige uitzicht op het strand. Er zijn veel plekken om foto's te maken.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
- Uw ophaaltijd kan variëren afhankelijk van de locatie van uw hotel of de verkeersomstandigheden. Een bevestigde ophaaltijd wordt naar u verzonden via WhatsApp of e-mail - Pick-up van uw hotel naar de pier duurt ongeveer 40-50 minuten, afhankelijk van de locatie, maar vanaf de pier, het is slechts ongeveer 15 minuten varen naar het eiland - snel en gemakkelijk! - Cruiseschip passagiers worden verzocht om de privé tour optie te boeken. Helaas kan de groepstour geen passagiers van cruiseschepen ontvangen vanwege conflicterende ophaaltijden met de join-in tourroute

We greatly enjoyed our trip to pig island. It was well paced (not too rushed) and we saw pig island, did snorkeling, and then stopped for lunch. Pig island was fun - the kids loved it. Snorkeling was 45min (I think an hour may be idle) and the reef was in so so condition. The snorkeling equipment provided wasn’t that high quality. No fins (which is ok). The small kids had fit issues with the equipment but the crew didn’t have smaller sets, so our youngest one needed up swimming with us instead of snorkeling. I think better attention to this issue would have made the trip 5 stars. Lunch was simple but nice. Overall we had a great time. The crew didn’t a good job and I recommend this trip for families.

This trip is not worth the money. Ofcourse if you never seen pigs, then is it funny. It was very busy at the Beach it Self, we went with a speedboat which is unnecessary as it is closed to the mainland. 10 Min Max. Food was average. And only get water, no Sodas as promissed and paid 1.500 TB for half day trip.

Very average and overrated experience to be honest. And also can be very dangerous. First of all the boat trip guys handled it really well. But on the actual island, it absolutely stinks and reeks. Very bad hygiene. There are way too many pigs and way too many people go there. Not just pigs, there are dogs, and chicken and what not and thats a very dangerous recipe for a virus outbreak of pandemic proportions. Skip it altogether if u can. They shd put a limit to how many people can visit to island at one go to maybe maintain the hygiene. Also they need to control the number of pigs on the island as well. The toilets on the island are filthy and not well maintained at all. GO AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Really enjoyable day out. Super cute pigs and piglets on a beautiful island. The lunch and fresh fruit was delicious. The guides were super friendly and took loads of photos for us and kept us hydrated with free water bottles.

We had a great day out. We were picked up at our resort and brought to the destination. Pig island was fantastic and we got to take photos with the pigs. The snorkelling was great and the lunch was fantastic. Really good food and one of my children is a picky eater and he loved the breaded chicken fillet and rice. The guide was fantastic, gave great instructions, took photos and was helpful and friendly. Overall a fantastic day

An incredible tour with an incredible guide! I was traveling solo and this tour was 100% the right choice. I felt safe and well-cared for. We loved the pig island but the rest of the tour was not that great. You spend a long time waiting at the beach for the boat. They then took us to a super mediocre snorkeling area. The water was murky & too deep to see much. I also think there were way too many people on this tour. The boat was so crowded & people kept hitting into each other while snorkeling.

Well organised. We had communication on pick up times and what we needed the night before. We were picked up direct from our hotel exactly as advised and transported to the pier. The boat transfer was approx 10 minutes before 45 minutes snorkelling. This was followed by 5 minutes on the boat before lunch. Finally we went to pig island which was the highlight. Everyone we encountered from the driver to the guides were really friendly and helpful. Also big thank you to the driver or retuned the cap that was mistakenly left on the van. Much appreciated.

Definitely worth the price and time. What we loved: Lunch was delicious, Staff was attentive - they took pictures of the family, provided plenty water, hosed us off after swimming, & sold water shoes onboard though they could’ve mentioned water shoes in the prep email. Pig Island was super cute and fun. Why not five stars?? long wait to board the boat, snorkeling wasn’t worth the time (water was murky, very little fish). Overall: Would absolutely recommend. Great way to spend the day.
Great value for money and a fun day out! We loved Pig Island, the delicious lunch, and the attentive staff who provided water, photos, and great service throughout. Snorkeling was a little disappointing due to poor visibility, and boarding took longer than expected, but overall we’d definitely recommend this trip.
