Scuba Dogs is een PADI 5-sterren duikcentrum; de enige officiële operator met alle uitrusting, toiletten, douches, kluisjes en professioneel personeel in het Marine Park. In het bijzonder is deze duiktour voor gecertificeerde duikers uniek GEWELDIG in die zin dat het een ondiepe duik is die niet dieper is dan 30 ', waardoor je veilig kunt verkennen zonder decompressieproblemen; oefen basisvaardigheden en neutraal drijfvermogen in een beschermde baai; een grote diversiteit en overvloed aan zeeleven tegenkomen, waaronder yellowtail snappers, juffers, pijlstaartroggen en schildpadden; en verken een gevarieerde bodemsamenstelling, waaronder de historische vissenmuur, standbeelden, Romeinse zuilen, scheepswrakken en koraalrifformaties. Na een kleurrijke beschrijving van de historische en ecologische waarde van deze epische site, een professionele theoriebeoordeling over de wetenschap van het duiken en basisvaardighedentraining in het ondiepe deel van de kustlijn, verken je de hele baai veilig onder direct toezicht van een duikprofessional.

Geniet van de natuurlijke schoonheid van een stedelijk rif op een historische plek midden in de metropool San Juan. Duik samen met onze gidsen terwijl we een beschermd baaigebied, natuurlijke en kunstmatige rifformaties, ruïnes van de historische "vissenmuur" en onze versie van Atlantis verkennen met een verzameling kleinschalige replica's van Griekse en Romeinse sculpturen en zuilen. Af en toe kun je misschien onze groene en karetschildpadden, zuidelijke pijlstaartroggen en inktvissen zien !! Voor deze 1-tank gecertificeerde duiktour is een SCUBA-certificering van Open Water Diver of hoger niveau vereist van een erkende duikorganisatie (PADI, NAUI, SSI). Gasten die niet over een van deze certificeringen beschikken, kunnen deelnemen aan de Discover Scuba Diving-excursie. Gasten moeten met volledige SCUBA-uitrusting, inclusief tank en gewichten, in en uit het water lopen. Afhankelijk van het weer en de omstandigheden ter plaatse kunnen gasten beperkt zicht tegenkomen, variërend van 1,5 tot 6 meter.

I had an amazing experience scuba diving here! It had been about five months since my last dive, so I had forgotten some of the knowledge and was a little rusty. The instructor was incredibly friendly, patient, and professional. They helped me choose the correct amount of weight, reviewed the skills I needed, and guided me throughout the dive, which made me feel comfortable and confident again. I highly recommend this place to anyone, whether you’re a beginner or just need a refresher after some time away from diving. The staff truly cares about your safety and making sure you have a great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Amazing experience, helpful tour guides so kind and helpful in the water.
I did the beach day trip with Anthony. We planned the dive together and spent the day at Shacks at Isabela and El Natural. Anthony was awesome— very knowledgeable about each site! Shacks has easily become one of my favorite dive sites. I had a great time and will definitely need to check out some of the other dive sites in Puerto Rico in the future. Highly recommend diving with Anthony!
I did the dive at Escambron Park. A kind of walled estuary but we went beyond the wall for our nice long dive. While it's not too deep , it's good practice for peak buoyancy since we had to navigate through tunnels and caves. The caves and rock formations make for interesting landscape. I like that they protect the marine life and keep it free of trash and other human harm. My guide was Alejandro. Considerate with a balance of helpfulness and independence. The shop itself was very communicative via email and phone. The location was easy to get to. A short walk from my hotel. Overall I appreciated the accessibility without needing to rely on a car or have a long drive from San Juan.
Amazing tour! Saw lots of fish and turtles and the dive was fun and beautiful. Manolo was a great guide!

Manolo made this experience fantastic!! Definitely try to get him! Fun time had by all and we managed to see a turtle in the shallows.
Scuba Dogs made it so very easy to have a great experience! And our guide, Manolo, was the perfect for for us. What a great, genuine man! He custom tailored our dive specific for what we needed and made us feel very comfortable. We had a great time!
It had been about five years since my last dive, and I was able to take a refresher course and do a dive with my nephew at the Escambron Marine Park, who had just gotten certified in the states. The online registration process was easy, and and the staff were fantastic. Especially the dive masters Manolo and Alberto, who were very friendly, honest, patient and informative. Although the diving conditions were not ideal, we felt safe at all times and enjoy the whole experience immensely. We can’t wait to come back and do it again!
My son and I could not have asked for a better experience the instructor massive diver. Manolo put us right at ease. We have not dived in over six years and he made us feel so calm to get right back in the water took us to a wonderful reef showed us some beautiful fishes and Even had a very funny surprise for us at the end. I don’t wanna ruin it but if in when you are in San Juan, Scuba Dogs is a must.
