Sarajevo heeft een sterke subculturele straatkunstscene. Historisch gezien, na de belegering van Sarajevo in 1995, was de stad voor 95% beschadigd en bleef depressief ongekleurd. De eerste kleurrenaissance werd feitelijk verzorgd door straatartiesten door middel van straatkunst, graffitiscène en verschillende muurschilderingen. Elke foto aan de muur beschrijft onze samenleving en de stad zelf. Verschillende interpretaties, verschillende uitdrukkingen en veel gekleurde vlakken zullen tijdens de tour worden ontmoet. Laten we zien Sarajevo door een uniek perspectief, begeleid door lokale kunstenaars en gecertificeerde gidsen. Ga met ons mee op deze coole street art-tour!

Onze geaccrediteerde en officiële Sarajevo-kunstreisgids leidt u naar het Bentbaša-gebied, waar de muurschildering 'In het behoud van monumenten uit het verleden' zich bevindt. Elke muurschildering op deze tour wordt in detail uitgelegd.
Onze tweede stop is het kunstgebouw 'Papagajka' (Perrot), waar het eerste straatkunstfestival werd gehouden en waar ook voorbeelden van muurkunst worden ontmoet.
Deze plek is perfect voor het uitwerken van de geschiedenis van Sarajevo door middel van kunstvoorbeelden en het bezoeken van het mooiste ontworpen object in Sarajevo. Ook wordt stickerkunst gedemonstreerd en uitgelegd.
Locaties waar street art concepten van Mr. Chat, Mural 'Singer' (Pjevač) en Gallery Boris Smoje worden ontmoet, uitgelegd en bezocht.
Achter de voetgangersstraat Ferhadija bevindt zich de Muurschildering 'Srebrenica 1992/1995'. Over de hele straat wordt de kunstgraffitiscène gedemonstreerd en geïntroduceerd.

Excellent tour! A unique way to discover Sarajevo through its street art while learning about the socialist era and the Bosnian War. The guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and shared fascinating stories that brought the city's history to life. Highly recommended!
Alan was the perfect tour guide. Not only did he tell us about streetart, but also the monuments and its artistic and historic meanings. We went home with a ton more knowledge. He is a very kind person. Alan, we really appreciate you taking so much time, never getting tired of all our questions and taking us on the perfect tour though streets we haven't been in before.
Alan gave us a wonderful tour of Sarajevo incorporating its history as well as street art. Since it was the off-season, the tour was intimate (just our family of four) and shifted earlier in the day so it was still light out. We saw some incredible murals, including his own(!), as well as smaller pieces throughout the older part of the city. A unique way to view and appreciate the city and its people.

We had an amazing street art tour in Sarajevo with our guide, Adnan. He was incredibly resourceful, kind, and engaging throughout the entire experience. As a group of three, we were shown parts of the city we never would have discovered on our own—hidden murals, meaningful graffiti, and stunning pieces tucked away in unexpected corners. What made the tour truly special was the way Adnan brought the art to life with the stories behind each piece. His passion for street art and deep knowledge of Sarajevo’s urban culture made this tour both informative and inspiring. Highly recommended for anyone interested in street art or looking to experience a different, creative side of the city!
Spending 2 hours wandering the streets and seeing the street art of Sarajevo was simply wonderful. Our guide was so knowledgeable about the art as well as life in Sarajevo now and in the past.
