Deze tour neemt je mee van Sarajevo naar Split of van Split naar Sarajevo en omvat rondleidingen op vele mooie plekken in Herzegovina. Een daarvan is Konjic - een kleine maar mooie stad die bekend staat om zijn oude brug. We passeren de verbazingwekkende Neretva-rivierkloof en komen aan in Mostar, waar je de belangrijkste attractie kunt zien - de UNESCO-brug van Mostar. Er is ook Blagaj Tekke, gelegen naast de bron van de rivier de Buna in een rotsachtig amfitheater dat u buiten adem zal laten. Later bezoeken we het van stenen gemaakte dorp Počitelj, en natuurlijk de Kravice-watervallen - de mooiste watervallen in Bosnië en Herzegovina, beroemd als "kleine Niagara-watervallen". Aan het einde gaan we naar uw eindbestemming. Voordat je het bereikt, zullen we nog een stad zien - Kroatische schoonheid Trogir. De eerste stop van de dagtour is een kort bezoek aan het oude gedeelte van de kleine, maar charmante stad - Konjic. Het symbool van Konjic is de oude stenen brug, die eeuwenlang de oevers van de rivier de Neretva met elkaar verbond. Het was vanaf 1682. tot WW2, toen de Duitse bezetters het vernietigden, tijdens de terugtrekking van hun troepen. Het werd in 2009 gereconstrueerd als de oorspronkelijke brug en staat sinds 2003 op de lijst van nationale monumenten van BiH. In Konjic kunt u genieten van een kopje koffie of een korte wandeling.
Onze volgende stop is Mostar - een van de mooiste steden in Bosnië en Herzegovina. Mostar is een stad van steen op steen, historisch, politiek, wetenschappelijk en cultureel centrum van Herzegovina, gelegen in de vallei van de rivier de Neretva. De bekendste attractie in Mostar is de Oude Brug, gebouwd in 1566. Sinds 2005 staat deze op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO. Bovenal is het het kloppende hart van de stad, een sterk iconisch symbool van haar geschiedenis en een van de meest herkenbare herkenningspunten van het land. We zullen ook de Crooked Bridge zien - de oudste boogbrug in Mostar. In Mostar vindt u Hamam - een traditioneel Turks bad. Bovendien gaat deze tour langs de Koski Mehmed Pasha-moskee, de op een na grootste moskee in Mostar. Kujundžiluk – Old Bazzar, slingert zich langs een kleine, mooie, geplaveide straat, die dateert uit het midden van de 16e eeuw. Daarom vindt u in dit gebied karakteristieke ambachtswinkels en traditionele restaurants.
Onze volgende bestemming is Blagaj - een oase van rust en natuurlijke harmonie. In Blagaj zie je een Tekke – het Derwisjenklooster, gebouwd rond 1520. Het klooster is een belangrijk monument uit de vroege Ottomaanse periode in Bosnië & Herzegovina. De derwisjen hebben het klooster gebruikt om hun speciale rituelen uit te voeren - Dhikr (lof aan God). Blagaj Tekke ligt aan de bron van de rivier de Buna, omgeven door prachtige bergen. In de stilte van de tuin van het huis van de Derwisjen, gekoeld door de frisheid van de prachtige rivier met het meest spectaculaire uitzicht. Daarom zult u begrijpen waarom Blagaj het middelpunt van de belangstelling was van historische persoonlijkheden, Romeinse adel, Ottomaanse viziers en kadi's, Oostenrijks-Hongaarse officieren en veel reizigers die op zoek waren naar de frisheid van het water, de warmte van de zon en de blauwe lucht. De lunch is in een geweldig restaurant aan de bron van de rivier de Buna.
Na Pocitelj komen we aan bij onze volgende stop - Kravice-watervallen. De Kravice-waterval, gelegen aan de rivier de Trebižat, is een miniversie van de Niagara-watervallen, verborgen in de Balkan. Kravice-watervallen vormen een natuurlijk amfitheater 40 km ten zuidwesten van de stad Mostar. Vanwege zijn verbazingwekkende schoonheid en ongerepte natuur heeft de staat het beschermd als een natuurlijke zeldzaamheid. De hoogte is 25 meter. Bovendien is de Kravice-waterval een populaire zwem- en picknickplaats.
Onze volgende stop is Pocitelj - het getrapte vestingdorp uit het Ottomaanse tijdperk. Het is een middeleeuws en Ottomaans-mediterraan wonder van natuur en architectuur, een plek als geen ander. Het bevindt zich in een steil rotsachtig amfitheater en is een wirwar van trappen die klimmen tussen gammele huizen met stenen daken en granaatappelstruiken. We zullen de verbazingwekkende Kula (Fort van Počitelj) beklimmen, op 45 meter boven de zeespiegel, die adembenemende uitzichten biedt. Op slechts één foto heb je de rivier de Neretva, de indrukwekkende moskee van Hajji Alija, de mekteb (moslimbasisschool), de imaret (liefdadigheidskeuken), de medresa (moslim middelbare school), de Hamam (Turks openbaar bad), de han (openbare herberg) en sahat-kula (klokkentoren). Počitelj is een echte magische plek die de tijd overstijgt. Het is een plek om gewoon rond te dwalen, in gedachten te verdwalen en een diep gevoel van sereniteit te voelen.

The transfer tour was fantastic! My driver gave me excellent background along the way and we made good time at each spot. I felt I had enough time to thoroughly explore at my leisure and I arrived at an appropriate time at my hotel, not too late. It was a very chill time. Admission fee to the waterfalls were 20 euros, but you can pay with credit card. It was packed with people but every other excursions I was basically solo.
Brilliant way to transfer from Sarajevo to split with some fantastic visits along the way. Tour was great, everything on time, comfortable car and our guide Namik was fantastic

We stopped at Potecilj, Kravice Falls and the Bridge Mostar. We also had lunch at an outstanding restaurant on the outskirts of Mostar. It was right on the river. Our guide, Ismet, is very knowledgeable about the history of the area from the fourth century on. Couldn't have asked for a better tour.

I had the most amazing experience for my transfer/tour trip from Sarajevo to Split, which definitely exceeded my expectations. There were five stops in between and each one was wonderful, such as the Old Bridge in Mostar and Historic Urban Site of Pecitelj. My tour guide, Muhammad, was very responsible, knowledgeable and took efforts to help. Though it was a long and exhausting trip, Muhammad made sure that I got to the hotel in Split before heading back to Sarajevo. Other staff members working in the office are responsive and friendly as well.

Our transfer ended up being a private one but it was great because we got to go at our own pace. Our driver Regan was full of information and gave us the details on all our stops! Also very good and safe driving. We had enough time to see all the sites and experiences, and it was on time as expected

Our tour guide, Vedo, gave us an absolutely unforgettable experience. It happened just by chance to be a private tour that day, so we really got to personalize our itinerary based on what we (and Vedo!) were interested in. He was a great and safe driver, warm, knowledgeable, and HILARIOUS! We swapped many jokes the whole day. It was wonderful to have a tour guide who was so willing to share a local’s perspective on Bosnian culture and who was curious about our lives, too. Each stop along the drive was beautiful and unique, with many opportunities to get snacks, walk around, and experience Herzegovina. One of the best meals we had on our whole vacation was the burek he bought for us (!) at a little place in a random town - we never would have known to eat there if it weren’t for his knowledge. It’s definitely a long trip, but there are many opportunities to stretch your legs. We recommend bringing your swimsuit if you want to take a dip at Kravice.
