Begin je onconventionele dagtour om de meeste interessante locaties van Saqqara te bezoeken, een van de breedste oude Egyptische begraafplaatsen ooit, waar farao's van het oude Egypte begonnen met de oprichting van de eerste Egyptische piramide ooit (de stappiramide van Djoser). Onze vertegenwoordiger van Kairo Ausfluge haalt u op bij uw geselecteerde starttijd bij uw hotel en gewenste locatie om uw interessante dagtour te starten en het stappiramide-complex te verkennen, dat wordt beschouwd als het eerste gebouw dat volledig uit steen is gemaakt over de hele wereld ( Djoser Step Pyramid). De tour omvat het betreden van de piramide van Teti van de koning Unas met de meest spectaculaire grafkamers onder alle toegankelijke piramides. Vervolgens bezoekt u Serapeum van Saqqara is een serapeum ten noordwesten van de Piramide van Djoser in Saqqara, een necropolis in de buurt van Memphis. Het was de begraafplaats van de Apis-stieren, levende manifestaties van de god Ptah. Men geloofde dat de stieren na de dood onsterfelijk werden als Osiris Apis, afgekort tot Serapis in de Helleense periode. De oudste begrafenissen op deze site dateren uit het bewind van Amenhotep III. Het museum heeft 4 showrooms met zeer interessante artefacten ontdekt tijdens opgravingen in Saqqara. Dan stop je voor een traditionele Egyptain-lunch en bezoek je een van de handgemaakte Carpets School, die je de getalenteerde werkers laat zien die de oude manieren volgen om zeer mooie tapijten te maken. Daarna wordt u teruggebracht naar uw hotel

Maymoud was our gids with his driver today. We had a great time. Our gide was taking his time to explain much details. He knows everything very knowledgeable man! Overal the trip during was 8 houres. Serrapeum was my favorite of the trip!

Great hike. The driver, Ahmed, was very punctual. The guide, Ahmed Salem, perfect: very kind, serious, organized, took care of everything. Everything went smoothly. We saw everything there was to see. Even the buffet lunch, carried out at the end of the hike was very good. It was a beautiful day. Mahmoud was my private tour guide, he was very professional and he knew a lot about egyptology. He explained to me almost everything during our full day tour, I learnt so much from him about Ancient Egypt, and we managed to see literally everything in Saqqara, Dashour and Memphis. I stayed in Egypt 2 weeks, and Mahmoud was by far the best tour guide I had. I managed to enter inside Step Pyramid, Bent Pyramid, and Red Pyramid. Driver was also very efficient, always coming to pick us up on time, and drive good. The organiser of this tour Mohammed was also very helpful and professional, he made it all clear before the tour.
