Ontdek Saona Island, een natuurlijke parel van de Dominicaanse Republiek, bekend om zijn witte zandstranden, turquoise wateren en eindeloze palmbomen, alleen bereikbaar per boot, ver van het massatoerisme. Ga op een vriendelijke dagtocht in een kleine groep, begeleid door een Engels sprekende Gids. We stappen rond 9.00 uur aan boord van de catamaran zeilboot en gaan dan naar de snorkelplaats Catuano, waar u veel tropische vissen zult ontdekken, waar u wordt begeleid door onze Gids Quetzal, gecertificeerde duikinstructeur! Na het snorkelen genieten we 3 uur lang van een van de mooiste, turquoise-water, witte zandstranden van Dominicaanse Republiek. Op deze ongerepte plek, ver van de drukte, wordt een eenvoudige maar smakelijke maaltijd geserveerd direct aan het strand, in een warme en ontspannen sfeer, met uw voeten in het zand. Daarna gaan we naar het natuurlijke zwembad van Las Palmillas, een magische afgelegen plek met het helderste water waar je zeesterren kunt zien.

We ontvangen u bij Bayahibe om aan boord van de catamaran te gaan
Na 1 uur varen stoppen we naar de snorkelplaats, bij Saona eiland. Uw Gids laat u alle soorten tropische vissen zien die we kunnen hebben zoals pijlstaartrog, kreeft, kogelvis...
U zult genieten van een geweldig strand met wit zand, blauw water... We zullen gebruik maken van een plek weg van de toeristische drukte... hier, wandelen op het strand, zwemmen, zonnebaden of een drankje nemen... u beslist, wij passen ons aan uw ritme! De lunch wordt geserveerd op het strand, in een privé gedeelte voor ons bedrijf. U zult genieten van ongeveer 3 uur rust. Zwemmen, ontspannen, wandelen langs de kust – een idyllische ansichtkaartomgeving ver van de drukte.
Om 14.30 uur stappen we aan boord van de boot om naar het natuurlijke zwembad te navigeren, gelegen op ongeveer dertig minuten van Saona. Je ziet geweldige zeesterren en geniet van een drankje in het ondiepe water.

Everything about our trip is absolutely perfect. We recommend doing the small group tour with them. It was worth the price. Beautiful saona beach! Nice team!

Catamaran trip was fun, food was good, the beach and snorkeling spot was good. Enjoyed meeting Jorge and his family from Argentina and Charlotte did a great job making sure that we enjoyed ourselves!

Fantastic family excursion to Isla Saona. We had a blast. The crew was amazing, helpful, and knowledgeable. Entire tour was well-organized - and the areas we visited were absolutely stunning. Lunch was great too. Highly recommend!

We just came back from Punta Cana. We chose Quetzal excursions for a catamaran excursion of Saona Island because of all the great reviews. They were right. Charlotte and the crew were fantastic. From the taxi , to the water taxis to and from the catamaran, everything was smooth and organized. They did not overcrowd us, took us to beautiful locations to snorkel and see starfish. It was relaxing and fun. And on top of it they served us a delicious lunch. Thank you for a great day!

Small boat excursion (no loud music, departure on time, etc.). We were one of the first ones on the island (which allowed us to enjoy it peacefully). The only nit is that you have to disembark the boat via a small boat, which adds more to the transport time (about 30 min each time).

This is not the first time we have used this company. What an organization is always at the top with a taxi bus that picks us up from our hotel in Puntacana and takes us to the departure place of the Excursions. In small group, super nice with a very well organized accompanying team.. very friendly. Thank you so much.🙏

This place was beautiful but so not worth it for the travel, be prepared to transfer from van to van to bus and then sit and wait for 30 mins or more for other groups, once you get on the water it’s a nice enough ride and the views are stunning but the food is bad (pasta was mushy, everything under-seasoned) and the journey back is long, you have to transfer between boats and end up having to sit and wait for up to an hour, it ended up being a 13.5 hr day for us with most of it being travel and wait time. The last time we ate was around noon and we didn’t have access to more food until almost 10pm. I never write reviews but this trip was pretty brutal, we were exhausted and starving by the end of it.

We had a fantastic day with Charlotte, Valentin and all the crew who all worked so hard to ensure we had a great day and were all looked after. I searched for a while before finding this operator to Saona island. We wanted to avoid a ‘party boat’ type of experience and a smaller group trip, which this was exactly. We saw some great spots, quieter locations and everything was run smoothly and explained very well in numerous languages. They offered all sorts of drinks, snacks, refreshments and a nice bbq lunch which was all delicious. Thoroughly recommend if you’re a couple or a small group looking for a more relaxed experience. It was a wonderful experience, everything was impeccably organized, starting from the collection from the hotel in the morning with exact indications of time and place, until the return back to the hotel, I recommend it to anyone, I would only say that it would be desirable that the stops on the island and at the natural pool were longer. I give you 5 stars with congratulations.
