Geniet van een intieme wandeltocht met kleine groepen door Santa Fe, beperkt tot slechts 10 gasten, begeleid door Rebecca of Timo. Niets is te vergelijken met de interactie en het gesprek dat mogelijk is in een echt kleine groep. Deze ontspannen Santa Fe geschiedeniswandeling verkent de cultuur, architectuur en verhalen die Santa Fe “The City Different” maken. Trek de stad in terwijl we door het historische centrum van Santa Fe wandelen en bezienswaardigheden bezoeken, waaronder Santa Fe Plaza, het wonder van de Loretto-kapel, de San Miguel-kapel - vaak de oudste kerk van de Verenigde Staten genoemd - en het prachtige Sena Plaza, terwijl we verborgen hoekjes ontdekken die veel bezoekers missen. Ontdek hoe inheemse Amerikaanse, Spaanse en Amerikaanse invloeden Santa Fe hebben gevormd terwijl we historische straten, rustige binnenplaatsen en minder bekende locaties verkennen die het ware karakter van de stad onthullen. My family and I (10 of us altogether) spent an enjoyable afternoon with Rebecca earlier this month as she walked us through the history of Santa Fe. We were up on our feet for 3 hours—walking through the Plaza, La Fonda, the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, the Miraculous Staircase...—but the time honestly flew by! Rebecca had a gentle, thoughtful way of unfolding the complicated and beautiful history of the region. And despite having done some preliminary research I walked away having learned more than I could have imagined. Even the "history-averse" members of our family loved it, which says so much about how lovely the city is, and how talented our guide.

Overall a simplistic approach to the history of Santa Fe. Very little information or insight that you couldn’t get from a guide book.
So sorry that the tour was not what you hoped for. It was clear that you were a lover of history by the history book full of sticky tabs that you carried. We try to tailor our tour to make it enjoyable for everyone. Our aim is to try and fit 400+ years of rather complex history into a 2-2.5 hour tour while showing our guests the most interesting locations, sharing facts and stories from history.

We had a wonderful tour with Rebecca on a beautiful Saturday morning. It was just my daughter and me. We appreciated her willingness to tour with us despite the small group. She knows Santa Fe well and is clearly passionate about history. She provided all sorts of interesting commentary throughout our 2 hour place walk around town. Do not hesitate to book this tour! It was well worth the price and time.
