Begin je avontuur bij de prachtige Walvis Bay Lagoon, de thuisbasis van zwermen flamingo's en diverse kustvogels. Geniet van het prachtige landschap en maak een aantal memorabele foto's. Vervolgens bezoeken we de Walvis Bay Salt Works, beroemd om zijn industriële zoutproductie en levendige roze meren veroorzaakt door micro-organismen. Dit unieke landschap is ideaal voor fotografie. Geniet van een schilderachtige rit langs het zandstrand met uitzicht op de oceaan aan de ene kant en de Namib Naukluft-duinen aan de andere kant. Deze route toont de grimmige schoonheid van de Namib woestijn. Als het weer het toelaat, gaan we naar Sandwich Harbour Lagoon, een RAMSAR-site. Als hoogwater de directe toegang beperkt, kunt u de lagune nog steeds bewonderen vanaf uitkijkpunten en genieten van een ontspannen wandeling. Na het verkennen kunt u ontspannen op een schilderachtige plek onder het genot van hapjes en drankjes, allemaal met een prachtig uitzicht op het landschap. Maak je op de terugreis klaar voor een spannende 4x4 rit over hoge duinen, gevolgd door een ontspannen cruise terug langs het strand.

De eerste stop is bij de Lagoon, waar u de flamingo's kunt observeren.
Pink Lake en de Salt Company. Het "Pink Lake" in de buurt van Walvis Bay, Namibië, is een prachtige natuurlijke attractie, beroemd om zijn levendige roze kleur veroorzaakt door zoutminnende micro-organismen en algen die worden gevonden in de zoutverdampingsvijvers die worden gebruikt voor de zoutproductie.
Sandwich Harbour is een adembenemend kustgebied gelegen in Namibië, binnen het Namib-Naukluft National Park. Het staat bekend om zijn prachtige landschappen, waar torenhoge zandduinen samenkomen met de Atlantische Oceaan, waardoor een dramatisch en uniek landschap ontstaat. Deze locatie is een van de weinige plekken ter wereld waar massieve woestijnzandduinen direct de zee raken. Het is de thuisbasis van een verscheidenheid aan wilde dieren, waaronder flamingo's, pelikanen, jakhalzen en soms woestijn-aangepaste oryx. Daarnaast is de nabijgelegen Walvis Bay Lagoon een paradijs voor vogelaars.

Great tour and with a great guide. Did tour from cruise port and definately recommend. Good fun on 4x4 car
An unforgettable experience. There were stunning landscapes and plenty of fun driving over the dunes. And then we were actually able to spot humpback whales. Our 5-year-old daughter was completely thrilled as well. Especially from climbing up and running down the dunes. Many thanks to our driver Lawrence, who pointed out and explained many things to us. We would do it again anytime!
Our courteous guide and driver was very knowledgeable about the local culture, ecology and environment. He gave us thrilling ride along the beach and the dunes. His experience was very evident.
We had a great tour to Sandwich Harbour where Namib Naukluft dunes meet ocean. Our driver/guide Lawrense waited for us outside the port gate although our ship arrived 1 1/2 hours late. He was a very skillful 4X4 driver and he also could arrange a beautiful snack plate and with assorted drink selection at a nice location on dune, with rest room! We were tremendously amazed by the beauty of the desert and the ocean. This trip definitely is one of the best excursions we have taken, surely one to remember for life.
This was an amazing tour saw loads of wildlife and the driving up and down the sand dunes was a great experience. Our guide Michael was lovely very friendly and knowledgeable and made the trip extra special even stopping to find a gecko that was buried in the sand. Highly recommended

Driving in a pair of cars with Michael in the other, great team work & made it a fun day too. Highly recommend this trip.
I absolutely loved the tour. The scenery of Sandwich Harbour was exotic and I think it is a must-visit place. And the guide was really professional. I was able to see everywhere satisfactorily because he adjusted the destinations according to the weather and the time of day. Needless to say, his driving skills were professional, and because he was born and raised in Namibia for a long time, his explanation was also very detailed, so I was able to understand not only all the places I visited, but also the explanations of each animals and plants and the history of national parks. The first place I visited was the salt farm near Walvis Bay. As I climbed the nearby sand dune, I was told why salt farms and pink salts were made. In the process of moving to a national park, it not only explained changes in the natural landscape, such as the change in the location of the national park and the movement of dunes due to natural phenomena, but also provided additional explanations for various animals and plants that could be encountered in the process of moving. He also tried to find animals such as Springbok, Orix, and jackal for me, and succeeded. On the way, I saw four Springboks and four jackals, excluding numerous seals, and this was very interesting.
Just impossible to describe!! You just have to experience it!! What a magnificent experience with excitement and beauty! We love Lucas!!! So knowledgeable, entertaining and just fun! Safe and experienced too!! Looking forward to coming back!
