We had a lovely time on the Pinxtos tour. Clara took us to several top pinxtos spots, and despite how busy they were, she always had a table for us. The pinxtos we tried were a good mixture of fish, meats, vegetables and a sweet treat at the end. We also enjoyed sampling some of the local wines, including txakoli. By the end of the tour we were so full, and had learnt a lot about some of the local traditions. Clara also messaged us with some recommendations in the area to try out. Overall we had a great time with a great host. We would recommend to anyone staying in San Sebastian.
Sara was wonderful! It was like spending the evening with a friend who knew all the best spots to take you. Don't hesitate to book, it was a fabulous way to navigate the best of San Sebastian pinxtos.
We had Esther Azcue Alberti as our guide and she was fantastic. From the tour of the city to the San Sebastián pintxos tour, she was excellent and very good fun.
My family of four (kids ages 10 and 12) had an AMAZING pintxo tour experience with our very knowledgeable, kind, and patient guide, Esther. She introduced us to pintxo bars and pintxos that we probably would never discovered on our own - and everything was excellent! She was also knowledgeable about wine pairings at each location, adding to the overall culinary experience. She fielded any questions we had about San Sebastian culture and a great host and provided a wonderful introduction to this amazing city!
We had a great food tour with Esther! She took us to 5 different bars and not only was every pinxtos she suggested delicious, she also paired the food with amazing wine! She was also flexible when we asked if we could opt out of dessert and try another savory dish. To top it off she sent us a follow up email with everything we tasted as well as suggestions on other dishes we might want to try during another visit. We loved our tour and would book with her again!

We had a wonderful evening with Sara on this tour. She checked whether we had any dietary requirements in advance and took us to 4 different pintxos bars. We were happy to put ourselves in her hands, and really appreciated her thoughtful choices of venue, pinxtos and wine pairings. She ensured we experienced a mix of classic and contemporary places and her recommendations were spot on. After the tour she sent us details of all the places we'd visited and what we'd eaten and drunk there, plus suggestions for other pintxos bars. As well as being a good host, Sara was great company - we felt very relaxed with her and afterwards we felt like we'd spent the evening with a friend rather than a guide.

Clara our guide was incredible she was so knowledgeable & fun we went to amazing bars & the food was unreal ! we also met some lovely people from UK & New Zealand which made it all the more pleasurable...I would highly recommend doing the tour & even better if you have Clara as your guide !!!
Incredible Pintxos tour hosted by Clara. Was the highlight of our trip to San Sebastian. She was so knowledgeable, took us to places we would never gone to & we tried dishes we never would have tried. - absolutely fantastic evening.
