Onze gids neemt je mee rond het centrale plein, door de grote tuin en legt je het belang van de San Miguel de Allende uit. We gaan ook een franciscaanse missie bezoeken en een gebouw dat als behoorlijk representatief wordt beschouwd voor de koloniale stijl in het gebied.
Onze gids neemt je mee door de hoofdmarkt, die drie blokken lang is, terwijl je de verschillende ambachten laat zien die ook in Mexico zijn uitgewerkt, en je kunt genieten van een proeverij van verschillende lokale delicatessen en fruit!
Onze gids neemt je mee naar Santuario de Atotonilco, die wordt beschouwd als de Sixtijnse Kapel van Amerika, als een analogie voor alle fresco's die de binnenkant versieren. Deze plaats aan de rand van de stad maakt deel uit van de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO.

Hotel pick up available and many little extras not mentioned on line like food tasting and conversation with locals
Very, very informative. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of San Miguel Arrived on time. Very personable, polite and courteous. Highly recommend this tour, especially first day in San Miguel. Will give you a perspective to help choose other activities.

Excellent tour, we learn so much about the history of Mexico and San Miguel de Allende, Diego es very knowledgeable. The visit to The Sanctuary of Jesús Nazareno de Atotonilco, with the exquisite Mexican Baroque murals on its ceilings and walls is just an amazing experience. Picked up at our hotel on time. It was Leo our guide and a driver. Went up to two lookouts over the city, then explored some other areas, saw murals, ancient hacienda now an arts school, went away from the city to an historic church, all the while learning from Leo the history of the city and Mexico. Leo was born and raised in SMA and his English was excellent. We had a walking tour booked the next day with the same company and asked if guides could be switched so that we had Leo again, which the company accommodated. Great time!

There was a little more walking than anticipated, but Diego was very solicitous of our mother’s pace always lending an arm on stairs. His knowledge of Atotontilco was quite impressive!
