What a fantastic day in Guanajuato! Aldo was friendly, intelligent and so accommodating! He answered all of our groups’ questions thoughtfully, and took us to many different places of interest, telling us the history, the local lore, and imparting his knowledge. I highly recommend this tour - it’s a fantastic way to get the highlight reel of Guanajuato!
Good: Very enjoyable day trip to the beautiful, vibrant, colorful city of Guanajuato. A chance to get a brief but memorable taste of some of the city highlights. Excellent cheerful friendly English-speaking local guide (Fernando) who shared lots of useful historical and cultural info about the city over the course of the day. Bad: compared to other areas in Mexico, perhaps a little expensive.
Great city Tours and I had done the same one back in March and it’s always interesting to take a city tour because each guide brings a little bit of themselves into the experience. Aldo is great one of the best tours around.

Fun day! Lots of interesting things to see! This is a tour for people who are pretty fit. Lots of stairs. NOT for the elderly. What a lovely town! I am so glad saw this town!
This is a MUST see, even though the van drive was about two hours going through some dilapidated housing. We did, however, get to stop at a local taco stand for lunch on the way. Breathtaking views as we approached the unbelievable, ancient city below us. Then we hiked down to the town to explore. You absolutely need good walking shoes for irregular streets and cobblestones.
The itinerary was outstanding- our guide Emma was fantastic- knowledgeable, warm, energetic enthusiastic answered questions made us feel like we were the most important visitors on the trip! The driver was courteous car wonderful and the two as a team really made the tour. So hardly recommend this and can’t wait to do another day trip with this company—
Lots of inclines and walking..be well rested and wear comfortable shoes. Bring good snacks and water.
