- Let op met de duur: het duurt 2,5 uur om bij het nationale reservaat te komen en 2,5 uur om terug te komen. In het reservaat brengen we 3 uur door; daarom duurt de activiteit in totaal 8 uur.
- Routebeschrijving: Je wordt opgehaald bij je accommodatie in Arequipa. Vanuit deze prachtige stad vertrekken we naar de nationale reservaten van Salinas en Aguada Blanca. Tijdens de reis passeren we de vulkaan die het dichtst bij de stad ligt, de Misti-vulkaan, die een prachtige kegelvorm heeft. Na 1,5 uur beginnen we het nationale reservaat te zien en verandert het landschap. Enkele van de typische dieren die we zullen zien zijn vicuna's, alpaca's en lama's. Eenmaal aangekomen in het hart van het reservaat, zullen we verschillende stops maken naast meren, waar we waarschijnlijk veel vogels zullen zien, waaronder pariwanas. In het reservaat bezoeken we een kleine vulkaan en ook enkele mooie uitzichtpunten. Na 3 uur in het reservaat gaan we terug naar Arequipa, wat 2,5 uur duurt.

Cool ride, but if you are with little time it is dispensable. Me and my husband had a really bad time with the bad altitude. Hanss, he was our guide, he was very concerned about us. He also demonstrated a lot of knowledge about what he explained
