Ontdek de diverse smaken van Saint-Emilion tijdens deze 5 uur en 30 minuten durende eet- en wijntour met kleine groepen vanuit Bordeaux. Verken de middeleeuwse straten van Saint-Emilion met je gids en krijg inzicht in eeuwenlange kleurrijke Franse geschiedenis. Bezoek wijnhuizen en kelders in het hele gebied en proef wijnen gemaakt van druiven zoals merlot en cabernet franc. Vergelijk lokale wijnen met die van over de hele wereld in een Grand Cru-wijnmakerij en geniet van een extra glas wijn geserveerd met een typisch Frans aperitief! Je krijgt persoonlijke aandacht van je lokale gids tijdens deze kleine groepsreis, beperkt tot acht personen.

Ontmoet je gids voor het VVV-kantoor van Bordeaux op 12 cours du 30 Juillet
Vertrek naar Saint-Emilion. Onderweg vertelt je gids je over de wijngaarden van Bordeaux en test je je wijnkennis. U zult uit de eerste hand enkele van de landschappelijke schoonheid van de regio ontdekken.
Wijnrondleiding door een Grand Cru of Grand Cru Classé Château (wijnmakerij van topkwaliteit) in Saint Emilion of Pomerol, waar u meer te weten komt over de verschillende fasen van het wijnbereidingsproces en de voortreffelijke wijnen proeft.
Aankomst in het dorpje Saint-Emilion. Maak een korte begeleide wandeling door de charmante straatjes.
Rondleiding door een familiebedrijf in de appellatie Saint-Emilion Grand Cru of Pomerol. Deskundige proeverij gevolgd door een laatste glas wijn geserveerd met lokale lekkernijen.
Terug naar Bordeaux voor het VVV-kantoor.

- Saint Emilion is een schilderachtig, charmant dorpje. Deze tour omvat een rondleiding van 1 uur door de stad, inclusief wat vrije tijd om rond te dwalen, zolang de tour Bordeaux op tijd verlaat. Bovendien kunt u niet het hele dorp volledig verkennen, omdat we bij elk kasteel strikte afspraken hebben. Als je langer in het dorp wilt blijven, kun je zelf nog een dagtocht organiseren, want er is een treinstation niet ver van het stadscentrum. Geoffrey our guide was an amazing host to us and so knowledgeable! We loved the wineries and the selections we were given, especially the lovely snack we enjoyed with Geoffrey and another couple. The town of St. Emillion was breathtaking and very much worth the short drive. We also loved how we had some time to explore solo for a bit. Thank you for the amazing time!

We were met by Gaspard and 6 other people, straight away into the first vineyard and had a great time tasting the verity of different wines of the region. Then a very informative tour of Saint Emilion by Gaspard, then a browse around the town then onto the second vineyard. Gaspard was extremely helpful with other members of the group helping there needs on steep inclines. The second yard was run by Yanick a real nice guy. A great afternoon meeting some lovely people for the first time and Gaspard making it all happen, he was extremely professional and respectful at all times thank you Gaspard. G Birss

Thoroughly enjoyed this afternoon with Nicolas. We had such a nice group of people and were immediately put at ease by our host Nicolas. He was very welcoming, knowledgeable about the wine industry and Bordeaux. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Both the vineyards we visited were excellent ways to learn and understand about this rich wine making area of Bordeaux. The hosts in both vineyards were excellent at explaining the process of wine making in Bordeaux and answered all our questions very well. 5 star all round. Thank you Nicolas! We had a great experience with Alex! He was funny, knowledgeable and attentive. The 2 wineries we attended were small production and places I would not have found with a quick Google search. Both produced organic wines, which was important and interesting to me. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area! ...and they pick you up in the city center near the tourist center--easy.
