Kom de prestigieuze wijngaard van Saint-Emilion ontdekken! Verken het mooie middeleeuwse dorpje Saint-Emilion, proef topwijnen en bezoek zowel prestigieuze als rustieke wijnhuizen tijdens een 5 uur durende tour in minibus (maximaal 8 personen) met een slimme gids. Bij elke wijnmakerij krijgt u een inleiding over de geschiedenis van het landgoed, vervolgens bezoekt u de technische installaties, eindigend met een uitleg over de eiken vaten en het rijpingsproces. De tour eindigt met een becommentarieerde proeverij van de Châteauwijnen. Uw tour omvat minimaal 6 wijnproeverijen en een Frans aperitief (kaas, vleeswaren, chocolade en crackers...) OF zoete specialiteiten uit Bordeaux macarons uit Saint-Emilion & cannelés afhankelijk van de dag van het bezoek. Het bezoek aan het dorp Saint-Emilion is inbegrepen in de tour. De ochtendtour begint om 8.30 uur en eindigt om 13.30 uur (+/- 15 minuten) De middagtour begint om 13.30 uur en eindigt om 18.30 uur (+/- 15 minuten)

Bordeaux - Saint-Emilion : 45 minuten/1 uur Saint-Emilion - Bordeaux : 45 minuten/1 uur Tijdens de rit zal uw gids, die Engels spreekt, u informatie geven over de geschiedenis van de Bordeaux wijngaard en u het programma van de dag uitleggen. Tijdens de reis bezoekt u 2 wijnhuizen : een topwijnmakerij geclassificeerd als Grand Cru Classé en een familiebedrijf.
Tijdens de tour bezoekt u 2 wijnhuizen, 1 topwijnmakerij (Grand Cru Classé) en een door een familie beheerd landgoed. Uw tour omvat 2 wijnhuizen bezoek (inleiding over de geschiedenis van het landgoed en technische informatie over hoe de wijn te maken), 6 wijnen proeven minimum in totaal en een Frans aperitief (kaas, gezouten vlees en brood op de 1 ° of 2e wijnmakerij) OF zoete specialiteiten uit Bordeaux macarons uit Saint-Emilion & cannelés afhankelijk van de dag van het bezoek.

We had an absolutely amazing time on our vineyard tour in Bordeaux! Vincent was a fantastic tour guide so friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about what he does. He gave us lots of really interesting and relevant information about the vineyards, wine-making and the region, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We all had such a great time from start to finish and learned so much along the way. Vincent really made the tour special with his enthusiasm and expertise. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Bordeaux- we couldn’t have asked for a better day!
The highlight of the tour was our guide, Vincent. He is knowledgeable, funny, and passionate about wine. He’s also a good driver, which is always appreciated. The wineries were ok, but it was a lot of talking and very little wine. Although what we tasted was good, I didn’t feel like it was worth the price we paid for the experience.
The vineyards were great! I enjoyed learning about the process and traditions of the area. Very informative and the wines were delicious. I bought a bottle at the second vineyard.
Was great, short day tour, definitely dont rely on the snacks as its minimal. Visited two vineyards.
Sonia is a fantastic tour guide, we learned so much about the Bordeaux region wine production and history during our 40 min drive to St Emilion. Only 6 grape varieties and vast differences in terroir, soil either on north bank, south bank or between the rivers. Visited 2 wineries first largely to taste (Chatlelet) and second for an in depth knowledge shared of the process and the complexity of single grape varieties and the blending process during the tasting with Alex at Bernateu. Our trip had the luxury of only 5 people and we had the pleasure of the company of two lovely ladies from Chicago plus Bernard from Philadelphia. Following the wineries a visit to St Emilion town where Sonia shared its incredible history, walked with us to the Kirk and then set us free, we chose to go for more wine and local cheese and charcuterie in the fantastic company of our new pal from Philly. Highly recommended.
Sonia was a great guide. This is a really fun, easy half day trip from Bordeaux. Definitely recommend!
The trip was organized very well - nice to visit two châteaux du vins, both to taste different wines, but also to learn something new each place. The guide was pleasent and good at explaining the wine areas. Perfect group size.
Excellent visit to 2 winery’s, tasted 6 red wines over the course of the day. Options to buy some at the end of each, Sonia was very nice and helpful with information. Would book again!
What a wonderful experience and brilliant tour organised by Viator and our guide Sonia. From the communications to our final goodbyes, we enjoyed everything. We had a brilliant group, it was small and this made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. Will definitely be using the company again for future tours. Early morning is a good time to visit Saint Emilion as it is before it gets busy. Saint Emilion is hilly so may not suit people with mobility issues
