We were a bit unlucky with windy and overcast weather so didn’t feel like we got to see what we had hoped for. Otherwise, everything was well arranged!
The day started with the pick up from our hotel. The driver was very punctual. Despite the fact that there were problems with the booking (we had first reserved for 3 people and increased to 5 people a week earlier) the driver remained friendly and we were able to clarify everything calmly. Once on the boat, we drove along on the deck for the first time and enjoyed the view. After a while the boat stopped in the middle of the sea and we could go down and look at the fish through the glass wall. Unfortunately, there was only one broken air conditioner below deck, so it quickly became stuffy. The combined swinging quickly made some people feel sick. We could also see only grey corals on the day, as well as occasionally smaller and minimally larger fish. But for the children it was still the absolute hit. There was also the possibility to swim or snorkel in the sea. However, we have not made use of it. One negative thing I have to mention: There were 2 photographers on board who got pretty annoying. They were very nice, but also really pushy. And the "initial prices" for the photos are also outrageous.... Nevertheless, all in all a good and nice trip.
Booked an excursion to Makadi bay and safaga on TripAdvisor and never did it. The transfer to and from my hotel did not have my names. The company making the excursion didn't have my names. In the end I did not make the excursion and the company refused to give me a refund. Scandalous. Unreliable. A disgrace
Great experience for all of us,very nice staff.. A big minus point, was at pickup!!pickup time was 11 o'clock, after 45 min.wait I prayed hotel there to call Office...on the phone said that supposedly there were some problems, and pickup we'd be at 12:30... Problems can always happen, but a message with me we'd have been nice...I was standing there with 2 small children 45 min.lang.... At 12:30 they had been on time
Flawless everything to perfection just watch out for the cameramen on the boat they are very expensive and scammers
A super nice place with a great beach and super nice staff! Also the animation team is great!!!
Excursion was to marsa Mubarak, Our tour was just fabulous. The pirate ship was very new and if I understood everything correctly this tour has only been running for a week. Everything was just right for us The crew was very accommodating, it was always taken care of our physical well-being. We saw several turtles 🐢, the manatee unfortunately had a day off. Nature just. Alcohol-free drinks were constantly provided and the food was just delicious. We can only recommend the trip, stay as you are. Daniela and Dirk
I booked a 2 hour Red Sea submarine cruise with snorkeling for the 4 of us. They fetched us from our hotel and everything was well organized. The boat was clean and I loved the bright yellow color! The view from below was fantastic, we even saw stingrays swim past, my kids loved it. We were the only group that opted to snorkel and it was so worth it! My daughter is 6yrs and the guide stayed with her in the water the whole time. We all felt safe and looked after. They even gave us complimentary cola to drink afterwards and yes there were things to buy on board but we didn't feel any pressure to buy anything. Everyone was very respectful. I definitely recommend this for families with kids, great experience!
Condition boat good. Staff friendly and non-intrusive. Underwater world disaster. Reef is dead. Pair of zebra fish and jellyfish that’s it. There we were snorkeling in front of the Hotel seen 100’ times. Kids loved it. Money thrown out for us adults. Better book Diving Tour !
nice family outing, we see the fish underwater it's fun, but on the 3 hours outing, there's only 30 minutes reserved for that. Snorkelling doesn't really matter, but it's worth it. To our liking too much merchandising and willingness to seek money (photo, chips....), but like many outings offered in Egypt. The trip with the dolphins suited us much more.
