Deze fascinerende tour begint met de ophaalservice bij uw hotel tussen 07.30 en 08.00 uur. Onze reis voert ons door de prachtige Heilige Vallei, met Pisac als onze eerste bestemming van de dag. Onderweg maken we een stop bij een iconische plek die bekend staat als de Sacred Valley Lookout, vanwaar je kunt staren naar de pracht van de Heilige Vallei en de rijke Inca-geschiedenis eromheen kunt ontdekken.
Vervolgens bezoeken we het archeologische complex Pisac, hoog op een berg gelegen. Deze prachtige plek bestaat uit terrassen en architectonische bouwwerken verspreid over de hellingen en op de bergtop, een prachtige mix van landschappen en constructies.
Vervolgens gaan we naar de ambachtelijke markt, waar u een grote verscheidenheid aan voorouderlijke ambachten kunt waarderen.
We passeren Urubamba, waar we pauzeren voor de lunch. Je proeft de typische Peruaanse keuken, met een breed scala aan gerechten, waaronder salades, soepen, hoofdgerechten, de beroemde ceviche en heerlijke desserts.
Na de lunch bezoeken we het architectonische complex Ollantaytambo, een levend dorp gebouwd om toezicht te houden op de ingang van dit deel van de vallei en het te beschermen tegen potentiële indringers. We krijgen de gelegenheid om door de straten te lopen en een duidelijker beeld te krijgen van hoe deze plaats tijdens het Inca-rijk diende als militair, religieus en cultureel centrum.
Ten slotte gaan we naar het pittoreske dorpje Chinchero, waar u de overblijfselen van het koninklijke landgoed van Túpac Inca Yupanqui kunt vinden. Op het centrale plein zie je goed bewaarde Inca-muren.
Ten slotte keren we terug naar de stad Cusco, waar we rond 19.00 uur aankomen en je afzetten bij de Plaza de Armas van Cusco.

William was an excellent tour guide! He provided a lot of useful information and answered all of our questions. He also managed the logistics of everything very well. All of the sites were amazing, but Ollantaytambo was truly spectacular. It felt like we arrived at the perfect time of day and had plenty of time to explore the large and unique site.

The organization was perfect, transfer from airport to hotel was already a very pleasant experience and our guide will was the highlight of the trip (profound knowledgeable of the Inca history, kind, attentive and very pleasant and professional) also the photography staff and the driver were spectacular.
