Uw excursie door de prachtige Heilige Vallei van de Inca's begint in Cusco en omvat het zien van prachtige Inca Terrassen. Vervolgens gaat u naar de ruïnes van Pisaq en geniet u van het panoramische uitzicht op grillige granieten toppen van het Andesgebergte. Onderweg stopt u bij een van de beste textielmarkten. Hier kunt u winkelen voor souvenirs en meer leren over de lokale cultuur. Je hebt wat vrije tijd om op eigen gelegenheid te lunchen (niet inbegrepen in de prijs) voordat we onze prachtige rit langs de Heilige Vallei voortzetten, met onze volgende stop Ollantaytambo. Dit is een klein stadje met indrukwekkende Inca ruïnes, gelegen op 9200 voet hoogte. Vanaf hier heeft u de mogelijkheid om terug te keren naar Cusco of te overnachten in Ollantaytambo. Houd er rekening mee dat de toegangsprijzen voor de archeologische vindplaatsen niet zijn inbegrepen. U kunt het ticket kopen op de eerste site waar uw Gids u naartoe brengt

De tour begint in Cusco, waar we u om 9:00 uur ophalen bij uw hotel. en begin onze reis. Onze eerste stop is bij de Lama-boerderij Awana Cancha, waar we niet alleen de verscheidenheid aan Andes-kamelen vinden zoals lama's, alpaca's, Guanaco en Vicuña, maar ook een groep inheemse mensen uit verschillende gemeenschappen van Peru gekleed in hun traditionele kleding, en ze oefenen allemaal de kunst van het weven van textiel. Daarna gaat de reis verder door de ruïnes van Pisac met een panoramisch uitzicht op de grillige granietpieken voordat u stopt in de stad om een van de beste textielmarkten in de Andes te bezoeken. Daar kun je souvenirs zoeken en leren over de lokale cultuur, hier lunchen in je eentje en dan maken we een prachtige rit langs de Heilige Vallei. De volgende stop is Ollantaytambo op 9.200 ft, dit is een klein stadje met indrukwekkende Inca-ruïnes, waar we de archeologische vindplaats zullen bezoeken.

I went to Pisac with Ruben. He clearly explained the history of the Pisac. We went on a less touristic route and had a unique insider experience. He speaks very good English and we chat a lot on different things.

We were looking for a private tour so that we could walk and enjoy at our own pace, with a knowledgeable guide. Our guide Juan and his driver Raul delivered all that and more! We never felt uncomfortable or pushed. Juan answered all of our questions with patience and humor. Last minute changes? Not a problem! We had the most fabulous trip with Amazing Andean Adventures!! They were recommended by a friend who had also had a great trip. From the beginning they worked closely with us in planning the trip we wanted. Juan was very flexible with ideas and changes and (many questions!) as they came up. Once we got to Cusco, our time with Danny was unparalleled. We had 3 adults and 7 children ranging from 11-17. He kept all of us entertained and engaged with his obvious love of his country and culture. He had so much knowledge! Our afternoon visit to Machu Picchu was incredible! We got lucky with the weather and crowd timing was perfect. He was fun and flexible with changes on the fly as we needed with a big group. Our hotels were top notch and our group bus was even equipped with a bathroom which was a necessity!
