De retourtransfer is bij de meeste hotels en accommodaties in de gebieden Cap Cana, Punta Cana, Bávaro, Uvero Alto en Macao bij uw pakket inbegrepen. We booked our family group of seven via the web site directly for a day at Sacred River for which we paid USD690.00. Arriving at 9am via collection from our hotel, we soon did a "walk" through the man made sacred river (which was only waste deep in water) which took approx 20 mins. We then did two float arounds of the lazy river and a swim in a pool with a waterfall. We decided to give the "traditional Dominican village" a miss. We ate the inclusive lunch (which the teenagers in our party thought was revolting) and by 1pm had had enough. So, we took a return bus back to our resort at 1:30pm. We felt the experience was a rip off especially given they charged extra for the zip wire and horse riding. And they wanted an additional USD100 for "official" photos. We also thought the walk between the three things we did was excessive and over uneven paths. Oh, and the electronic lockers were out of order so the charged us USD10 for a small rusty padlock and key for an old and dirty wooden locker to secure our possessions.
When just doing the sacred river and jungle river, it is not a guided tour. You can go at your own pace, fast or slow as well as doing the areas more than once within your allotted time frame.
Was a very great experience to learn a little history, try Dominican food and relax in the water and was well planned and organized.
Alot of fun! If you love adventure you need to book this seriously! Please wear water shoes as it is a must! Book it and have fun!!!!
Lots of walking on sharp stone paths not accessible for anyone with disabilities. Pools are refreshing and cool. Guides not very helpful very dimly lit to none existent lights in caves. Guides left us and we had to feel our way along the side of the walls to get out. (a rope though out to hold) onto may help. Lazy river not working so we couldn't use it all day. Food and drinks very over priced.

Brilliant day. We only booked the water part. Which was amazing and would definitely do again . The food was so good and staff were friendly and helpful and take your phone with waterproof holder as you can use them

This place is well worth the money! The staff are so helpful and are a right laugh. They had me fooled by winding me up that the Sacred River closed the night before 😆 The Sacred River is amazing. So relaxing and fun. There are loads of photo opportunities and the life jackets are comfortable. The Jungle River is spot on and again is so relaxing. Spoiler Alert: you will get soaked! The session is approximately 4.5-5 hours which is a perfect amount of time to see everything; we even did the Sacred River twice. You can buy all the photos for $60. There is a lovely shop by the restaurant where you can buy hand painted items. The included lunch is so tasty and worth it! It seemed busy when you first arrive but then when you’re in the actual park, it’s not crowded at all!

Going through the water activities one time is a short experience. We got there for the 9am booking and our ride back to the hotel wasn't until 130pm. For the water activities, it took about two hours (including waiting in the line, signing the waiver and getting our lockers), so we were done by about 11am. Lunch starts at 1130am. The food wasn't bad (rice and beans, chicken, and a tomato and cucumber side). For the price paid, I thought it would have been more activities. The Sacred River was nice, going through the caves and seeing all the statues etc. The maze was fun, but short. Wish there was more to it. We had our kids with us (6, 10, 12yo) and they enjoyed it, but thought it could have been more as well.

If you go with small children it is very good, without activities that are not very fun for adults. You do the same activity several times to be able to kill time while waiting for the transport to pick you up. You are trapped inside unless you do the activity on your own. Everything is artificial and full of chlorine

This was our favorite excursion we did while on vacation! We did all the water parts, and wow, it was so clean and refreshing! A water proof phone lanyard is a must, wish i had known that you can take your shoes and swimsuit cover up off right before you do any activity, i wouldn't have bought special shoes. Just an FYI
