Tijdens deze tour heeft u de mogelijkheid om de meest pittoreske koloniale steden met een grotere culturele traditie van het westelijke deel van El Salvador te bezoeken. Beginnend in Nahuizalco, stad met inheemse gebruiken, erkend om zijn fijne ambachten in riet en tule. We vervolgen onze tour naar Apaneca, het hoogstgelegen dorp van heel El Salvador, bekend om zijn koffieplantages. Hier kun je een aantal optionele activiteiten doen zoals de zipline op de fiets, of het grootste doolhof in Midden-Amerika. Tot slot het kleurrijke stadje Ataco, beroemd om zijn ambachten, zijn restaurants en zijn prachtige geplaveide straatjes. Na Ataco doen we een prachtige koffietour in El Carme Estate en eindigen we in een ontspannen stop bij Termales de Santa Teresa om te genieten van de Hot Springs.

De prachtige stad Nahuizálco. In de Nahuatl-taal betekent het "de vier Izalcos". In deze stad krijgen we de kans om een van de historische gebeurtenissen te leren kennen die de culturele en inheemse erfenis van ons land het meest hebben beïnvloed. U zult genieten van een bezoek aan de gemeentelijke markt, waar elke dag de dorpelingen hun verse producten verkopen. Hier proef je wat tropisch fruit. Nahuizálco wordt erkend als een producent van handwerk van rieten en tule, gebruikt voor het maken van manden, stoelen, matten, enz.
De laatste stad op de bloemenroute is de kleurrijke stad Concepcion de Ataco. Deze prachtige stad staat bekend om zijn prachtige muurschilderingen die elke hoek van de stad sieren. Rustige geplaveide straatjes die je het gevoel geven dat je in de tijd reist. Ataco staat bekend als de producent van de beste kwaliteit koffie in El Salvador. Hier kun je je ervaring compleet maken met een bezoek aan een koffieboerderij, waar je het hele proces van koffieproductie kunt ontdekken. Vanaf het moment van planten tot het een kopje koffie wordt
We zullen hier een koffietour doen, we zullen de faciliteiten bezoeken van een koffieverwerkingsfabriek die sinds 1930 in bedrijf is. We zullen het transformatieproces begrijpen, vanaf het moment dat de vrachtwagens de vers gesneden koffie vervoeren, tot het moment dat deze wordt geserveerd in een kopje aan tafel.
Na ons bezoek aan de beste attracties van Ruta de Las Flores, is het tijd om te ontspannen in een klein resort verborgen in de bergen, met prachtige poelen met warm water, van verschillende temperaturen, afkomstig van vulkanische activiteit. Vergeet je zwemkleding niet mee te nemen

Great tour with really nice tour guides. Got to eat pupusas, see the old colonial towns with the cobblestone streets
The guide was very good except for the fact he took us walking through a construction site on a street where there uneven, soft and unsafe surfaces which proved to be detrimental as I lost my footing on a soft spot and fell face first into a mud puddle. That nearly ruined my entire day and I skipped the coffee farm altogether. The guide took me to a local coffee producer/cafe where I could settle down some. Lunch was in a very charming restaurant. The weather was awful with heavy rain all day but that wasn’t the tour operator’s fault. We only got 45 minutes to enjoy the hot springs which I thought was unacceptable. I had very little time to enjoy the water and the others on our tour didn’t even bother to change and get in the hot springs at all because of the short time.

We understand how upsetting and uncomfortable that experience must have been, especially in such heavy rain. Your well-being was our guide’s immediate priority, and we’re glad he was able to support you after the incident by accompanying you to a local coffee shop to rest while the other guests continued with the coffee farm visit, and even personally purchasing a clean shirt so you could change and feel more comfortable. We are glad that the guide was able to help you during this inconvenience and responded appropriately. For context for future travelers, this took place in November 2024 while Apaneca was undergoing temporary municipal works to bury utility lines, which affected some walking surfaces, and the unusually strong rain that day made conditions even more difficult than normal. Thankfully, this was not representative of the tour under typical conditions. Regarding the hot springs, we understand your wish for more time there. This stop is designed as one part of a full-day experience before the two-hour return to San Salvador, though we appreciate that it may have felt too short from your perspective. While not all guests chose to enter the pools that day, that was their personal decision, as occasionally happens, and not due to a change in the planned itinerary. While we regret the circumstances impacted your enjoyment, we truly appreciate your kind words about your guide and are grateful for your feedback. This tour was a great experience. My tour guide Josue Romero was very knowledgeable, I learned a lot about the Salvadorian culture. I also had a great time at all the locations we visited, including Cafe Albania, Ataco, and the hot springs.
My mom and I had a wonderful time on this tour with Osmaro. He made it a very enjoyable experience. Despite some traffic, we still were able to do everything on the itinerary without it feeling rushed. He even took us to a spot where the locals eat, which made the experience even more authentic (the food was delicious by the way). I 100% recommend this tour if you're in El Salvador!

Great time with Herbert. He gave us interactive information (so be sure to remember because there’s an exam at the end of the tour. Just kidding!) He is so nice, accommodating plus he was also our driver. Brought us safely from 1 place to another.

I can’t say enough great things about our tour guide, Herbert. From start to finish, he was phenomenal extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about sharing the history and culture of the area. He made us feel comfortable, kept the us entertained, and added thoughtful touches that made the tour feel special. This was truly one of the best guided experiences I’ve ever had.
