Geniet bij Devil's Door van een korte wandeling naar een dramatisch uitzichtpunt op de klif met uitzicht op weelderige valleien en de Stille Oceaan. Ontdek de legendes achter de naam en maak prachtige foto's van een van de meest iconische natuurlijke bezienswaardigheden van El Salvador.
Hier kunnen we de architecturale juwelen met Europese en neokoloniale invloeden waarderen. Daarnaast bezoeken we La Plaza Barrios, in het hart van San Salvador. Daar heb je een benadering van het echte dagelijkse leven van de Salvadoranen, je zult de Metropolitan Cathedral kennen. Het nationale paleis. Het Nationaal Theater. De Plaza Libertad. De El Rosario-kerk. Op deze plek komen kunst, geschiedenis, cultuur en traditie samen. een architectonisch juweeltje op het continent.
Een van de attracties die je niet mag missen tijdens je bezoek aan San Salvador. Als je voor dit religieuze gebouw staat, ziet het er vreemd uit als een verlaten of vervallen plek, met een architectuur die er alles behalve een kerk uitziet. Maar als je binnenstapt, zul je verrast zijn door de prachtige decoratie op het glas-in-loodplafond waardoor je je in een regenboog van kleuren waant. Dit is zonder twijfel een verplichte stop in San Salvador.
Op de top van de vulkaan San Salvador ligt het El Boqueron National Park, deze vulkaan is het gemakkelijkst te bezoeken, aangezien de straat ons naar een parkeerplaats brengt op 10 minuten van de top van de vulkaan. Op het pad naar de top geniet je van een aangenaam klimaat, vergeet je trui niet. Op de paden en bij de top 3 uitzichtpunten vind je prachtige bloemen. De 3 uitzichtpunten hebben een bevoorrecht uitzicht op de krater van de vulkaan. De krater van de vulkaan San Salvador is de diepste krater van het land, we zullen de uitbarstingsgeschiedenis, de geologische formatie en een beetje over de vulkanische aard van El Salvador begrijpen.
Op weg naar de vulkaan maken we een ongelooflijke stop bij de beroemde Rainbow Slide in El Salvador, vul jezelf met adrenaline en emotie die glijdt op deze kleurrijke plek.

This tour was great. Our tour guide was Moises. He had amazing stories to tell. His story telling was amazing. It was like I was seeing a movie in my head. He was super attentive and adaptive to our needs. He made sure we still got the full experience. It was an amazing tour and I would recommend it to everyone
This tour was so much fun. The views at the Boqueron was beautiful. Thebguide Osmaro was funny and down to earth. Super cool guide. The slide looks intimidating but so much fun.
It was cloudy on the day of the tour so the tour guide rearranged the order of activities as needed. I enjoyed my trip and would recommend.
This excursion was amazing, Moises was very knowledgeable and we learn a lot. Had a great time. The church, the library the monuments all the history was great. The volcano, the slide was great, I will recommend it. It is a great experience.
Rafa was great and super knowledgeable. We go to everything on the itinerary and had a lot of fun. I would very much suggest his tour to anyone coming as a tourist to san salvador.
Rafa was awesome. We had a great time with him and he showed us a lot of culturally important aspects of the country and was able to answer all of the questions that we had. Not only was he informative, but he was very friendly and we felt very comfortable with him. He went the extra mile to make sure we had a good time and was accommodating. The activities on the tour are also must sees when you come to El Salvador.
First time visiting San Salvador from California and honestly, El Salvador is such a beautiful country. The people were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful everywhere we went. They can spot a tourist immediately though 😂 One thing that really stood out to me was the contrast. You’ll see very humble neighborhoods, then turn the corner and there’s a brand new mall with boutique stores and trendy coffee shops. You can buy 4 pupusas for $1.75 at one spot, then pay $10 for the same thing a few minutes away. It’s a very interesting mix of old and new. Per the locals, this May was unusually hot and humid because of El Niño… and WOW they were not kidding 🥵 BRING A POCKET FAN. Seriously. It saved us. There’s so much to do and see, but definitely plan your itinerary carefully because traffic is intense and drives take way longer than expected. A lot of destinations are spread out and there aren’t enough roads for the amount of cars, so expect delays and longer travel times. The food? Amazing pretty much everywhere we went. Also… travel tip: bring your best pair of walking sneakers, cash for entry, parking and tips, Imodium, Tums, Pepto, bug spray for the evenings, and stay hydrated 😅 Overall, such a fun trip with beautiful views, amazing food, and warm people. I’d absolutely go back 💙
Amazing tour. Saw a lot without feeling rushed. Rafa was an excellent guide and should moonlight as a photographer. Great way to see the city, devils door, the volcano and do a fun slide.

The guide we went to was amazing! I wish i could remember his name. All the places were great to see and we got a little time to check out some souvenir shops THANK YOU! He also took us to a beautiful place to try the pupusas. Overall, this was very worth it highly recommend.
