Ruco Pichincha-topwandeling
Beschrijving
Een unieke ervaring waar je kunt genieten van het landschap van een extint vulkaan, allemaal dicht bij de stad, deze wandeling is geen wedstrijd om te zien hoe ver je kunt lopen in weinig tijd, je hoeft alleen maar te ontspannen en erop te vertrouwen dat je de top en bezoek een geweldige plek waar de geesten wonen.

We zullen beginnen met het ophalen van alle deelnemers vanaf hun locatie (voor het geval dat verder van de stad ligt, zullen we een ontmoetingspunt vinden). Nadat we je kaartjes in Teleferico hebben gekocht, gaan we naar het hoogstation en wandelen dan naar de Rucu Pichincha-top. Afhankelijk van uw fysieke conditie stoppen we op specifieke plekken om even op adem te komen. Over anderhalf uur komen we aan bij de Bear`s Cave en bereiden we ons voor op het laatste uur wandelen. De hele weg zullen we verschillende soorten planten en dieren zien. Wanneer we bij de rotskelder aankomen, halen we nog een keer adem om verder te gaan naar de top. Dit is tijd voor foto's en geniet van de eenzaamheid van de berg. Deze wandeling kan minstens 3 uur of meer duren naar de top. en twee uur terug naar het kabelbaanstation. Wanneer we terugkeren naar het eerste station van de kabelbaan, vinden we ons vervoer klaar om naar huis te gaan. Andere dingen om te overwegen - Tijdens het regenseizoen is ons doel de Berengrot voor de veiligheid van alle deelnemers.

Our experience with Cecilia and Sommer Ekvator was absolutely exceptional and one of the highlights of our trip to Ecuador. From the very beginning, Cecilia organized a fully customized itinerary tailored to our interests and needs. She took care of every detail, including transportation, scheduling, and planning our days perfectly, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy the experience. One of the most memorable parts of our trip was the beautiful hike near Quito, where Cecilia shared her extensive knowledge of the area, its history, nature, and culture. Her passion for Ecuador is contagious, and she made every stop meaningful and enjoyable. Cecilia also introduced us to some of the best local restaurants, where we experienced authentic Ecuadorian cuisine that we would never have found on our own. Every recommendation was outstanding. What truly sets Cecilia apart is her warmth, kindness, and genuine care for her guests. Throughout our visit, she made us feel less like tourists and more like family. By the end of the trip, we felt completely at home in Ecuador.
Not only is the mountain beautiful, very high but at the same time relatively accessible, but the views of the city of Quito are excellent. What surprised me most, however, was the friendliness of the couple who were our guides, Cecília and David, who are also experienced mountaineers. They explained to me the location of the dozen peaks visible throughout the tour and which constitute the so-called "Avenue of Ecuador's volcanoes". TOP!
Our guides were absolutely amazing! Unfortunately the original hike we purchased had closed access a week prior. Our guides did an excellent job recommending some alternative hikes, so we ended up going to Cotopaxi (which was amazing). Along the way, they picked up a 3rd guide who had intimate knowledge of Cotopaxi since she had grown up in its magnificent shadow. They were incredibly knowledgeable and literally treated us like family. I hope we cross paths with them again. Thank you for an amazing adventure!
