Sneeuwscooteren 's nachts in Lapland biedt een uniek perspectief - rijden door stille, met sneeuw bedekte bossen onder de Arctische hemel, met de kans om het noorderlicht boven te zien. Bij Arctic GM ligt de nadruk op kwaliteit en comfort : kleine groepen, rustigere routes weg van het massatoerisme, ervaren gidsen en premium uitrusting. Arctic GM wordt beheerd door The Original Aurora Hunters® en is een familiebedrijf met wortels in Lapland dat teruggaat tot de jaren 1600. Uw avond begint met ophalen en transfer naar een privébasis. Na instructies vertrek je op sneeuwscooters die gedeeld worden door twee gasten, met een bestuurdersschakelaar tijdens de rit. De route omvat ongeveer 2 uur rijden door bossen en open landschappen, ver van de stadslichten. Er worden stops gemaakt om van de omgeving te genieten en de lucht te controleren — als de omstandigheden gunstig zijn, kan het noorderlicht verschijnen. Na de rit warm je op met warme dranken en lichte snacks.

Begin uw avond met het ophalen bij uw accommodatie in Rovaniemi en transfer met een modern verwarmd voertuig naar de privésneeuwscooterbasis van Arctic GM, gelegen in een rustig bosgebied weg van drukke toeristische routes. Bij aankomst wordt u voorzien van thermische overalls, helmen en alle benodigde uitrusting. Uw Gids geeft duidelijke veiligheidsinstructies en demonstreert hoe de sneeuwscooters te bedienen voor vertrek. U vertrekt vervolgens op een begeleide sneeuwscooterrit, met ongeveer 2 uur rijden door besneeuwde bossen en open Arctisch terrein op eigen land. Sneeuwscooters worden gedeeld tussen twee gasten, met een verandering van bestuurder tijdens de rit, zodat beide kunnen ervaren rijden. Onderweg worden stops gemaakt op zorgvuldig geselecteerde locaties om van de omgeving te genieten, foto's te maken en de lucht te controleren op noorderlicht wanneer de omstandigheden het toelaten. Na terugkomst op de basis warm je je op met warme dranken en lichte snacks voor de transfer terug naar Rovaniemi.

Om een vlotte reis te garanderen, vragen wij u vriendelijk om 10 minuten voor uw geplande ophaaltijd in de lobby aanwezig te zijn. Onze vriendelijke Gids wacht tot 15 minuten na de geplande ophaaltijd voor vertrek. Bedankt voor uw medewerking!

- Deze tour is niet beschikbaar voor kinderen jonger dan 6 jaar
- De bestuurder van een sneeuwscooter moet minimaal 18 jaar oud zijn en in het bezit zijn van een geldig rijbewijs (klasse B)
- De bestuurder moet het rijbewijs kunnen tonen en een verklaring van afstand van aansprakelijkheid kunnen ondertekenen
- Elke sneeuwscooter past op twee; solorijders moeten twee tickets kopen voor hun eigen rit
- Reisverzekeringen en andere noodgevallen zijn niet inbegrepen

This Arctic GM Tour was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We spent about 2.5 hours snowmobiling through the snowy Arctic night, and it felt unreal from start to finish. It was very cold, so make sure you have good gear to stay warm. The heated snowmobile handles were especially appreciated. The snowmobiles were also easier to learn than expected, though you still need to be careful while driving. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and checked on us often to make sure everyone was comfortable. The small group size made the whole experience feel more personal and enjoyable. The best part was getting lucky enough to see the northern lights, even without a big solar storm forecasted. Seeing them while out snowmobiling at night was unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Arctic.
We booked with the 8 hour guaranteed plan, but the guides were so kind and enthusiastic that they even went around a few places to look for us in Sweden (and actually when we got back to our hotel it was 10 hours away) and we saw the beautiful Northern Lights! It will stay with me for a lifetime! Thank you very much.

When I initially booked this tour, I never anticipated witnessing the Northern Lights or having the opportunity to stand and drive across a frozen lake. Extraordinary and unforgettable experience! We went on a snowmobile tour in Lapland and, thanks to the choice of the evening tour and a bit of luck, we also managed to see the Northern Lights in the middle of a completely frozen lake: a simply magical moment! The guide was fantastic: a very young French guy, super nice, prepared and really excited about what was making us live. His passion and energy made the experience even more special. At the end of the hike we had a barbecue in the forest, a beautiful atmosphere: sausage sandwiches, hot chocolate and hot tea, perfect after the cold of the snowmobile. We were really very satisfied with the whole organization and the experience in general. We absolutely recommend this agency to anyone who wants to experience Lapland in an authentic and exciting way!
We really enjoyed the tour. Is was more than we’ve expected! Halfway there we stopped for an amazing aurora and when driving over the frozen lake the sky exploded with northern light. Our tour guide Daniel was doing everything he could to make it an unforgettable experience. The bbq in the tipi tent by the fire afterwards was nice to warm up while is was -25! Transportation from the Rovaniemi office took about 40 minutes and was really comfortable. Thank you so much 😊
I really enjoyed the activity . It was one of the most fun experience. Nevertheless i was going to write the company about something which really upset us. During the the drive I was seated upfront with my wife and also there was another couple who witnessed something: the driver was playing with his phone while driving replying whatapps, youtube and facebook. This upset me a lot and I told the lady dressed in red ( your guide) to say and do something about that. She replied saying that the bus driver didn't speak English as we shouted at him very loud and bad to stop him doing that! They didn't care at all. I don't find it very funny playing with our lives. He has the responsibility of 60 people. Bad accident happens all the time due to this attitude. That was something unbelievable. We were shocked

Snow scooter was great fun! We were lucky experiencing breathtaking Aurora. Great guide (Siiri). Comfortable clothing included, pretecting us from extreme cold.
Activity at the top!! I recommend 100%! The guides were very friendly, very clear explanations We stopped on the frozen lake where we could see an aurora! The meal was also very nice, they took the time and we enjoyed it very much I would do it again with great pleasure!!
